2K Games, would you kindly release BioShock PS3 on October 21?

Well, that was easy. 2K Games has complied with our subliminal request that it release the PlayStation 3 version of sublime, submerged shooter BioShock in North America on October 21. There was some mental resistance to our suggestions of a worldwide release, however, so you international folks will just have to make do with October 24.

BioShock comes to the PlayStation 3 sporting the same aquatic utopia-turned-dystopia that made the game one of 2007's best, along with Trophies, a new "Survivor" difficulty level and challenge rooms, to be released as downloadable content "shortly after launch."

cannot wait for this game for PS3.
supposedly planned to have tons of dlc, exclusive new plasmids and other things not available on the PC or Xbox 360 - oh, and this is not going to be a crappy port either.

I'm looking forward to this, even though I already played like 2/3s on PC. As long as it plays well, I'll update to the PS3 version for graphics, frame-rate, and add-ons. (My PC is weak.)

If the DLC doesn't come out for the 360, than I am definitely gameflying it :P.

Let me say this to potential PS3 owners of BioShock. It is THAT good. I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere, the story, the weapons system, etc. Practically everything. While playing, I actually let out a little scream. Twice. So, if you think you might like it, you will. Don't let the tepid responses affect you. Get it! Okay, two negative points, too much "hacking" and the U-Invent stuff was unnecessary. Other than that, awesome.
