I'm surprised they haven't brought that to a next gen system yet. It would be good on the wii. Though, I don't think it would sell that well on the wii, mainly because the wii doesn't have the Core support like PS3 and 360. By that, I mean, there aren't many core gamers on the wii as there are on other consoles. In order to sell games such as this well, they have to get rid of the family image and start a true Nintendo Revolution.

Also surprised they haven't done this yet.
Seemed like a tradition forming with the N64 and Gamecube versions having been made right out and all.
Would think the Wii would get a paper airplane control style one.

Also Star Wars appeals to the casual gamers too. So it's probly due to copyright issues and the like.

If they made a updated version for the Wii I wonder if they would do something like use the Wii Wheel so you can steer the X-Wing and other ships. Kind of like the old Star Wars arcade machine.

This article has inspired me! I'm going to plug this game into my Wii tonight and give it a spin!
