I love me some Ratchet & Clank, but this game would only be worth it if it was $5. $15 is way too much for a 2-3 hour game that doesn't answer any questions about Clank. The game may look slightly prettier than that last, but I'm paying for an experience, not the visuals. On principle, I just can't pay more than I did for Eden or Super Stardust HD because they've lasted way more than 2-3 hours.

I got a wii, doesn't mean theres good games for it just cause its not HD.
Lost your logic on that one.
Does that mean youd rather play LAIR then Some classic NES titles?

Where do you live? In san Diego movie tickets are at least $10.50 Which actually makes your point even better. This isn't a bad deal. Also considering a 2 hour DVD is still at Least $10-$20

Well, 2/3 hours of Gameplay "plus" Challenge mode makes... 5/6 hours of Gameplay. For a game that costs like a Blue-Ray DVD I think it will worth my money.

so...just to clarify, since I already sold R&C:TOD, Quest for Booty doesn't require the original in order to play?

how can you even compare the production value of this to Super Stardust HD? I have stardust and yes it's a great game I wouldn't put it in the same level as ratchet. Hell people spend 15 bucks at the movies for a hour and half movie that wasn't even that great. At least i can go back and replay this as much as I want.

well ill be picking this up on the first day. i absolutely love Ratchet & Clank games (and R&C:ToD is by far my favorite PS3 game) so $15 is a great to me. especially since i know im probably going to play it through at least like 5 or 6 times (and probably more).

and i just came to a striking realization.....this comes out on Thursday! as long as my crappy internet holds up, ill be a happy man.

I'd rather have a DRMed rental at a reduced price (around $5), because I'll probably play this once and not touch it again. Like have it disabled after 48 hours once you start playing. Europe is getting the BD. I wish Gamefly would get it on disc too.

why do people keep giving it a low score? it was created not to be as long as the other r&c games that is why it is only $15 which is about the same price as the other psn games that last just as long.

"The lack of weapon variety, and the limited customization options remove the tactical fun of previous Ratchet & Clank games."

"The beautiful design of the first two levels is abandoned in the final two levels, with dark, dreary colors that are simply boring to look at."

"To make things worse, the already-short game revisits the first two levels once again at the end, instead of offering players new places to visit."

"While Insomniac says the game offers 3-4 hours of gameplay, it's probably closer to 2-3 hours."

I hope Insomniac gets a clue and makes their future R&C games more platforming/puzzle like the first two levels of this game.

Insomniac should take some time and patch BOTH games after they finish with Resistance 2. That might ease the pain of us, R&C of waiting MORE THAN A FREAKING YEAR for the next installment :'(

To warrofuastupidname, Quest for Booty can be played without any past game. Just download from PSN.

To author Yoon, good call on the absent Quark. I had not realized this. Also, no weapons vendors in this game and no, there are no skill points:< Ammo doesn't spawn enough/isn't available in some earlier battles on the pirate ship. It seems that the only way to reload your ammo is to die.

Yoon=right. Necessity for Ratchet and Clank fans (that's you 'iamkid'). For anyone else, spend your money on something else, like Patapon maybe.
