No surprise to you, we watch a lot, a lot of trailers. Do you know how much better our lives would be if video game trailers were less "You're some guy who's got to do a thing. Buy it!" and a lot more like this new trailer for House of the Dead: Overkill, a funky homage to 70s B-grade action flicks? Well, we don't know either, but we bet it's a lot.
Now, the real question of course is will the game itself have this much style and panache? Jeez, greedy, they already gave you a cool trailer, what else do you want?
Being that i am a House of the Dead fan (Not that big of a fan but none the less) This trailer is EFFING AWESOME, i have always love these shooter type games, i gotta say this ad is EFFING AWESOME as well, but im still not buying a WIIIIIIIIIII
they came out with The house of the dead 4 only at arcades. i played it at Dave and Busters, the graphics are amazing, i want SEGA to make a house of the dead for the PS3. that would be sick.
I hope this game comes with HOTD1 or/and 4 as an unlockable. I never got around to beating either at the arcades. And isn't there a HOTD EX coming out, possibly for the Wii? That looked hot and this looks equally awesome.
I'm so glad the Wii has breathed a bit of life into the light gun genre. All that's needed now is a Virtua Cop compilation and a new Confidential Mission.
I'd actually like SEGA to take a step further and re-release old Sega Saturn favorites like FIGHTERS MEGAMIX, the VIRTUA COP series, and possibly even a remastered(or newly created)DAYTONA USA.
I have been a fan of the series for a long time I think I could have bought a Dreamcast with a HotD port with all the money I spended in the game back when I visited the arcades.Friggin sweet.
The gameplay looks suspect as Ye Olde Wiimote Waver is present on the gameplay clips, but the trailer is cool, and that makes it authentic - most trailers for 1970’s action-horror films were better than the movies themselves.
