I'm pretty sure most commenters will disagree with me, but I think this is a really good move.

I'm gonna have to agree with you although I hate miis, this was a good decision bc it makes the game seem more accessible to casual gamers....

It's an excellent move, if only so I can play my guitar while having Obama and Jesus as my roadies!

When Guitar Hero needs help being casual friendly, something is very wrong.

I don't think it's an amazing bonus, but I guess it can't hurt. GH's characters look like ass anyway, may as well throw Miis in there.

This proves that GH:WT > RB2 on the Wii.

They haven't announced what's going to be on the Wii version of Rock Band 2 yet.

But I admit, if I only had a Wii, and I couldn't get Rock Band 2 DLC, I would buy Guitar Hero.

But luckily I have Rock Band and an Xbox =D

Odd move by Nintendo, you'd think they wouldn't license out Miis to a music game while they have their own game that involves Miis playing music coming soon. It surely invites the comparison, even if they don't mean it.

Well, they were already pretty clear that they're not competing with games like Guitar Hero with Wii Music. This is a pretty good move, I think. If two versions of a game are coming out and they're going to be exactly the same except one version had a little bit more and is a bit cheaper, it makes sense to buy that one, right?

This will probably be the nail in the coffin for Rock Band wii. Casuals will not know the difference (*SPOILERS* there aren't any), they already have their GHIII guitar, so unless Harmonix can work with Vicarious to make the controllers work both ways, Rock Band just won't sell like the first one (sadly) did. If I didn't have a ginormous backlog of games (and if it didn't come out around Christmas), I'd preorder GH:WT right now

Rock Band has sold horribly in the UK on Wii because it's not even out yet!

Nintendo bungled the Mii popularity on an unimaginable scale. This is small move in a different direction.

So you are telling me that the Wii version of Gutar Hero World Tour has everything the 360 version has, except with decent graphics (don't care because that is like judging graphics for Tetris), all the modes including make your own song, DLC and online...and it is going to be cheeper with an extra mode?

Hmmm...

I wonder which version I will be buying?

It's good to see the commenters here are less retarded than the ones on that certain other news site where the see Miis playing instruments and scream "WII MUSIC! BAD! BAAAAAAD!!!" and start making weird moaning noises.
