New Konami PSN title to hit this November: GTi Club+

Konami has a new PSN title called GTi Club+. It's based off the 1996 arcade game that, perhaps, you might remember (read: we don't). But hey, if you do remember this racing title, then the following statement about the game boasting "all-new HD visuals and widely expanded gameplay elements" might hold a lot more meaning.

For the tech savvy who like numbers, the game runs at 720p at 60fps and also support 5.1 sound with a remix of the original arcade's music by Atjazz. It also supports the PlayStation Eye, allowing users to keep watch over online opponents during play. Free Run, Arcade, and Bomb Tag are several of the modes mentioned in this new release. The game is set for release this November (for Europe at least). Update: Added a gallery with 20 new screenshots. Update 2: Trailer attached, after the break.

Holy shit! I used to play that arcade all the time at my local superbowl! Awesome LOL

im in the uk and it starts at 4pm GMT it is now half 2, so thats 1 and a half hours to go!!
back on subject, if this was the arcade game where you could drive minis down steps as a shortcut it is absolutely f*Ck1ng ace!! firts day buy for me, especially the upgraded graphics and sound...8 player online to boot with the EYE! heaven... ;)

Oh thank god. Finally another game that supports the PS Eye. It needs more support.

I actually do remember this game, only played it a couple of times but if I can remember it 10+ years on it must have been decent.

Yeah I remember this game. It was great!

The main draw of the arcade game was handbrake turns with real handbrakes in arcade machines. But I guess multiplayer bomb tag makes up for it

Don't remember the arcade game but this looks brilliant. Exactly the kind of easy going fun game i love to see on the PSN.
