Meet Team Fortress 2's "Edible Device" and shotgun replacement, the Sandvich.
Valve really missed a good opportunity for a bad pun here by not calling it "Meat the Sandvich," but hey, it's still pretty damned funny. What's next in the series of loony videos? Meet the Bullet? Seriously though, we'd watch them all. Heck, just throw a TF2 cartoon on the air as part of Adult Swim and we'd be glued to our sets.

I love the videos and overall appeal of the game, but the game was kind of stale to me. Although I only got one game to work ever and it's the ps3 version so the controls sucked.
I should probably rebuy the Orange box for the pc. I really wish TF2 had a campaign. They really have great characters.

Mr.ESC, I believe I was in a game with you last night. Or at least someone with the same icon as yours. What is your Steam name?

Even though i'm kind of pissed off that they didn't do another meet the class video (cuz though are amazing). I really like the sandwich. I think it will make the heavy be able to be fully independent from the medic (even though they will probably still do better together).

It'll be even better in the Arena map. Limited heatlh won't be a problem when you have an infinite supply of sandviches.

What's not to get? Heavy is almost dead, gets sandvich, eats it, the hunted becomes the hunter. It's very simple really.

I seriously love the constant updating of this game. The organge boxfor the PC was the best gaming purchase I've ever made. Period.
The only problem I see, having not played TF2 in a bit, I don't havea single idea of what the hell this is.
The download is pretty sizable though.

The sandvich is great for when there's not a medic around and you're close to death. It'll also save you from potentially fatal flamethrower blasts that would kill you before you could run to a medpack/resupply room or find a medic. I never used the shotgun so it's a win-win situation for me. The KGB fists and the new minigun are both pretty cool as well. I can't stress how cool the new minigun is against rushing pyros, they can't get near me anymore since you kind of push them back.
Pretty much, unlike the Pyro, I am using all 3 upgrades since the upsides outweigh the downsides so much more than the pyro (the air blast thing is actually really nice... and the shotgun is actually useful.)

I have to agree that the air blast is pretty useful, but if you get behind them with the backburner its an instant kill.

Just a slight correction:
25% less damage means that the alternate minigun requires about 33% more bullets to kill someone. 25 is roughly 33% of 75(100% - 25% = 75%).
It's a common mistake and not a big deal, but I'm a nerd.

Does anyone know if 360 controllers work with the PC version? I like the 360 controls, but the lack of updates will probably make me re-buy it for the computer once i get one that can support it.

I'm pretty sure it is compatible with the 360 controller.

Has it ever crossed your mind that some people prefer the feel of dual analogs over a keyboard and mouse for shooters? Personally, I can't stand using a keyboard and mouse for shooters. For RTS games and the like, that's a different story. But for shooters, KB & M just feels weird to me in this age of gaming.

With the exception of rocket jumping and sniping (lol, point and click) it actually feels like it was made for the Xbox controler.

I know people who use a 360 pad on the PC version, though I wouldn't mention it if you don't want to be mocked. But as mentioned before, avoid soldier and sniper and you should be fine.

Until you get a Scout stalking you. I think it was intentional for them to be utterly vulnerable to Scout rush ambushes and duplicate the scout vid.

Valve could make embarrasing amounts of money if they made a full lenght TF2 movie.

Played for 6 hours last night once the patch was released and it was pure mayhem with heavies running around. New PL map is dope, and I'm loving the heavy achievements. Not really too fond of arena mode, however...it tests my patience.
