Eternally sorry, but mine was the Metal Gear Solid 4 cinematic trailer ... I'm still pretty new to the world of Nintendo so I haven't seen that many trailers that burned itself into my memory ... but this one has :D

Oh, I almost forgot about the controller reveal trailer for Nintendo Wii itself, that had a pretty profound impact on me, heck, I wouldn't even have it if I hadn't seen it. But ... I don't know if it counts XD

I never thought licking a Wiimote could be so hott... ;-)

I'm not sure I have a truly memorable trailer, honestly...this one's pretty sweet, though!

Well for me it's easy. Little King's Story, the game may not be out but it is a well done and cute trailer. I look forward to the Pikmin elements with a bit more diversity, Nintendo has some great titles abound and they seriously can't come soon enough.

It's got to be first seeing that Killer Whale in Sonic Adventure.

Electronic Boutique had a Dreamcast montage on one of their tv screens. Being a Saturn and a 32X owner I was at the end of my tether with Sega - with good reason, too. But then the Killer Whale jumped out and Sonic sped towards the screen. The harbour was decimated, it looked amazing.

By then I had lost all confidence in Sega consoles so I didn't buy a Dreamcast, but I did buy Sonic Adventure. I played it on a friend's console. Windy Valley is still one of the best 3D platformer levels I've ever played.

Oh, yes. I actually watched the Japanese Sonic Team party conference thing almost as it was happening, and that game has been one of my favorites ever since. I wholly agree.

Absolutely. I was watching the press conference live and I had no clue that game was going to be Zelda.

That had to be the Best. Trailer. Ever. Seriously.

It seriously took 7 people to reply before the Twilight Princess trailer was mentioned?!

@Greg2k

I was also watching that press conference live (my first live one actually), and I literally cried in joy when I saw that trailer... It still brings a tear to my eye and a smile to my face when I think about it...

Zelda Twilight Princess!!!

Most thrilling, anticipation-inducing and pain-inducing ever because of Nintendo habit of letting us rot in the dark for years before unveiling the light upon us all with their magnificent but so much late software!!!

I wish they did it again at last E3, "Zelda XXXXX", spring 2011 !

The trailer from the Duke Nukem Trilogy was definitely pretty memorable to me. In fact, I think that all these logos floating around ended up getting burned inside my brain.

The best game trailer ever is the "Courage is solid" trailer for MGS4. BY FAR!

Quentin Tarantino made the video, I see, with some leftover Grindhouse footage.

Yeah, only that was Robert Rodriguez, and Planet Terror was homage to Grindhouse films of the '70s which this trailer is obviously doing as well.

Awesome trailer, I really want this now after the disappointing RE: UC

As much as I got chills during that initial Twilight Princess reveal, I think my favorite would have to be the first Twilight Princess trailer that showed off Wolf Link.

Mario Kart for the SNES. :P

... hmmm... I'd say... ummm... when Snake entered the Brawl.
:D I'm a huge Snake fan, and that made me go insane.

Or if it's just a commercial... Super Smash Bros. for the 64. :D That was a classic.

But... best theatrical?
Nintendo speaking... I'm really not sure.
I'm a huge fan of trailers, but none of them from any Nintendo-system games made me squeal with delight (other than the Brawl one).

:P But if you really want to know one game that made me go crazy that came from the Wii... call me g@y if ya' want, but I really liked the My Sims trailer.
I always wanted a game where you build a whole town/rooms in ANY creative way you wanted. So I really loved the My Sims trailer... :P

Ha ha. I remember that Wind Waker trailer with the Zelda who was telling us "of a tale". That was really great...I was young then, but it stuck.

Then the Ocarina of Time trailer "Sink or swim? Fall or fly? Get the girl...or play like one?" It was just great! Awesome music and cinematics (for the time), funny, catchy, definitely memorable. Too bad only really low quality versions of it exist.

Actually, generally all the Zelda trailers are pretty good. I thought Phantom Hourglass trailer was the most disappointing in a while.

Twilight Princess, hands down.

I hate to say it, but as much as I loved Wind Waker, that first trailer made me cry.
