Only one person's made this claim, and they were swiftly corrected.

I think you're over reacting.

It was more of a sarcastic comment than anything else. I was just having a little fun. I have seen many different articles over the past couple of months and I have continually seen someone mention HR as the secret game.

Really I just love the copy paste function. Copy/paste..... whhhhhoooooooooooooo

Yeah, it'd be pretty amazing if a guy whose username is 'The Doctor' didn't know what the BBC was.

Anyway, the 'BBC game' is a mysterious, unannounced PS3 exclusive that a BBC blogger saw and said was 'teh uber amazing' (not an actual quote) but can't say anything else about because he's under a non-disclosure agreement.

That's literally all we know, but it's been enough to get the internet hyped.

It must be challenging to come up with fresh new ways of insulting the Xbox. I mean, some people just throw one out there, but you, you LIVE IT.

i'm tired of fanboys, will you guys die please?

i own an xbox360 and a wii, don't care much for the ps3, but this game makes me want a ps3. it looks pretty revolutionary with its realism and immersiveness.

i don't get the deal with people who need to make themselves feel secure with bs like:

"oh yeah, gears is mindless anyway, i got my resistance and killzone"... wooptee****in doo assholes.

It is clear to me that Gabe "the Hutt" Newell was spot on with his statement that Sony should just can the PS3 and pretend it didn't happen. I mean what a waste of time developing for the PS3 must be if games like LBP, KZ2, and Heavy Rain are what we get.

Gabe, put down the hohos and insert your giant, toejam covered smelly foot FIRMLY into your giant, fat, disgusting mouth. And that goes for the rest of you certain gaming sites and anti-Sony fantards.

I hope Sony and it's 3rd and 1st party developers continue to WASTE time on the PS3 for many years to come.

Someone should interview that assclown again and see if he still can say the same things WITHOUT looking like an eediout.

No, just Gabe Newell. With each passing day, his statements about the PS3 look dumb & dumber.

It hurts to even watch the man talk, any moment I think he is either going to keel over and die or eat the camera.

Ugh! Why QTEs? How about letting us play the game? QTEs are not game-play, they can best be described as moive-play.

What would be different had there been an assigned button to say, catch the bottle from breaking? It's not like the whole game is pressing QTE's, and as the article points out the QTE's do change if you want to do something differently.

Forget it, they made all the same promises with IP, and that turned out to be a shitty Dragons Lair clone. Once I read that QTEs would be a common part of the game, it sounds like IP all over again. Nope, not buying or even going to give it a try.

From reading the previews, I think I'm safe in saying the developers of this game have really tried to nail what 'immersion' has meant to be all about for the last 30 years of videogames.

It probably will be flawed and certainly not perfect, but just like Crysis used physics and graphics to up the immersion stakes, this game seems to be aiming for feel and action akin to our natural thought/dream processes. Maybe right now the graphics are not enough to really pull this off (I mean in the industry in general) but this could well end up a landmark title that changes the game for everyone. I've always been a supporter of people slowing down game interaction and making every action/second count as it's a far more exciting prospect than the same old run and gun. Tension, atmosphere, discovery and immersion are vital for aging gamers like me to enjoy games and this looks like it just might nail it.

I should add though, I'm not exactly getting wet over the idea of QTEs I don't like them in games, however maybe, MAYBE they have good reason in this game to use them and if the controls are as instinctive as hinted at then it may actually be a fun thing rather than a chore. Time will tell I guess.

He's right thought, it is more like a movie than a game, and that is exactly what the developer wants. If you remember Indigo Prophecy, the fact that it was more movie than game is what people really loved/hated about it(well that and the very very matrix style ending). As a fan of Indigo Prophecy, I'm really looking forward to this game/movie, whatever. I think its going to be good.

Yar.. I agree.. When I first heard of Heavy Rain, I thought it was going to be an open world type game, but I guess it's ok that it's more of a interactive movie.

Same people who were complaining that Konami should have put QTE's into the cut scenes of MGS4 to keep the gamer involved are now complaining when HR does it.

We get it, you don't like anything the PS3 exclusively puts out.....oh wait until 6 months from now its announced for the 360 and then maybe you'll take a closer look at it.

Or Gears2 is announced to have QTE's and then its groundbreaking way to involve the gamer.

You guy's need to find new hobbies.

I was okay with Indigo Prophecy's gameplay, but I had a problem with the plot. Mainly, the back of the box says I've killed someone, and don't remember doing it. By the end of it... SPOILERS BELOW.

I'm like, so, I'm a zombie, and also, The One. And the cyborgs are trying to get me. Before I get the girl to the alien crash site to learn the Ultimate Truth, and save the world from global cooling. So, um, you could see where that threw me off.
