OMG awesome Demo. I have no doubts in my mind that I will love the full game.
Had to play through it twice. Second time on the hard setting and somehow I totally missed the combos the first time. There are so many different ways to kill everyone it's great.

AH! I just went to download it and guess what? My Xbox Live Gold membership ran out yesterday. So I just redeemed a 48-hour code I got with Halo 3 so that I can download but it hasn't taken effect yet.

I didn't know that silver members couldn't download demos...

They can... They just have to wait for about a week for New Arrivals

The 48-hour trials don't actually make your account Gold; they merely allow Silver accounts access to multiplayer gaming for that time period. So unfortunately you still won't be able to download the demo.

BZZZT! Wrong!

You get one month of Gold, with all the privileges of a full Gold membership, including downloads and contest entries.

There's no such thing as a Silver account that can play online.

Oops. Sorry. Wrong reference. He's talking about the 48-hour certificates. I'm not sure about those, but I'm fairly certain they are still full-fledged temporary Gold accounts.

What I was talking about was signing up a new gamertag, or using a free one-month certificate from certain games (like GTA IV).

I am going to have to give a thumbs up on this game. Great level design wow it is huge more than once did I say wow out loud. The Force physics are incredibly accurate. By the way try bending the exposed girders. I put on in a Tie Fighters Flightpath and Blammo.

It comes out on my Bday and I am getting it that day Bargain Bins be damned.

very disappointed with this, "physics" were pretty laughable and the targetting system didn't. I'd have something highlighted and then no, its decided to grab something else.

camera was more of an annoyance than i'd have liked, it felt really unfinished as a whole

Haha... if you thought that camera was bad and that this game felt unfinished you must really hate Ninja Gaiden 2. That demo sucked...

This one channels a lot of what made Psi-Ops fun... which was an awesome game

I imagine it'll be at least as good as Shadows of the Empire... which I really enjoyed back in the day.

I actually just played the ninja gaiden 2 demo for the first time and thought the camera was a lot better, it didn't annoy me as much a) because people were crumbling into gooey messes whenever i touched them and b) because a little tap on RT brought it back to where it wanted to be

Just finished playing the demo... Don't get me wrong, I like the concept, I love the way you can fling things around... but the camera was awkward, the lock on feature was, in my opinion, un-usable (Or at least I couldn't find any way to get it to work the way I wanted it to), the force push, lightning, and saber attacks were all cool, not too sure if I like having to remember button combinations though. And ya, leave the timed button pressing instances to God of War. This game has a ton of potential, but they just need to fix a few things. They have a whole month to do that, so I hope they take advantage of that.

Very nice teaser demo. Not long, its a demo, duh. Destructable environments are sweet. If anyone else has figured it out, you can use force lightning to charge your lightsaber before you slice someone, very cool! WE NEED MORE GORE!!!! Bloodrayne did it best :).

when you taop on the rs.. and the camera re-sets... it should be a moving reset, not an instantaneous one.

I cant download this. every time it is at like 74 percent it says "cannot download this"

is my HDD corrupted? Xbox originals and arcade games/trials work perfectly and all my DLC works fine

Maybe there were a high volume of downloads when you tried. Give it few hours, and try it again. This happens to me at times.

The demo sucked !

I hope the retail game is not as bad. I'm really excited about the game, and I hope it's not an epic fail.

this demo was amazing, i love trying new things to kill that last guy because you get to see it in slow motion. (try throwing a storm trooper straight up as high as possible and watch him hit the ground, BA i must say)

if you wanna try something funny just before the boss fight there will be tie fighters whizzing by the platform you are on (on the side wall not the center platform). if you use your force to bend the vertical beams outward (located on walkway) it will definitely take out the tie fighters and you'll sit there going i just caused a 100 mph crash!!!

I agree alot (first time here). The camera didn't really bother me alot it was acceptable, but this demo Was what I wanted and expected short sweet, and leaving you witha good taste wanting MORE. This game no doubt is on my top list of course.

Funnest Star Wars game I've played in a loooong time. Cut scenes were impressive. Most impressive. The physics are pretty cool and controls are pretty intuitive.

My main issue with it is I feel like it's too hack and slash. I ran through the levels without caring what to do or being remotely careful. I can use force grip on EVERYTHING and it just seems like he's TOO powerful. I thought it would be more stealthy (but hey, he's a Sith. Recklessness is in his nature.) I'm definitely picking up the game but I'm hoping that it amounts up to a LOT more than this demo.

best demo of 08.. ive already put in more time with this demo than retail copies of sc4 (i used to love soul calibur, what happened?) and the fable pub games (free and i still wont play them)..
every time i try the demo i find something new to do.. today it was combining button presses at close range for throws; da bomb da bomb daah bomb-bubu.. last night it was stabbing sleepy stormtroopers in the gut.. homerunning them force push style into the air is also thoroughly satisfying ..

the last time i had this much fun with a licensed demo was flying in superman returns.. (and no, there isnt anything else redeeming about that full game besides flying either.. at least they got that part right..)

While the game is pretty good, I just could not get used to the controls. Lock on with the RB, dash with the LB? I would have laid the controls out differently. I wonder if you can customize that in the full game.

I'm assuming controls will be customisable, because the tutorial voiceover refers to the "Force Grip button" instead of just saying RT.

I'm definitely giving the full version a go. I'm not expecting GOTY material here, just a fun game. The demo delivers in that regard.
