See Tiger Woods actually make the Jesus Shot

There are really only two ways of handling a glitch. Fix it in a patch or convince everyone who experienced it that it never happened in the first place. EA, as you can see in the above video, has provided the most impressive example of that second method we've ever seen.

After seeing one user's "Jesus Shot" video from Tiger Woods 08, (you'll find it just after the break), wherein a glitched Tiger walks over a pond to make a shot, EA answered back with its own video that Levinator25's supposed bug was, in fact, a mind-blowing feature. Bravo, EA. Bravo.

Maybe it's just me but...

This ad is genius marketing, in a comedic way.

technically it's not par because he grounds his club in the hazard before hitting the ball, hence a two stroke penalty for a double bogey, not par.

I was waiting for Tiger to finish off the opponent with a 'Shun Goku Satsu' after something like that. o_o;

While funny, it is obviously a glitch. How would people have taken to Take 2 if they responded to glithces in GTA IV this way?

I would absolutely love to see a car get shot through a building by a rogue swingset.

With the words after the car shoots out the other side, "Physics... who needs 'em?"

Quite possibly the greatest thing EA has ever done...

Plus, you know, Tiger is hilarious and awesome.

Really not a fan of EA. At all. They eat developers, produce games on a yearly junk cycle that creates glitches like these, and burden their PC releases with destablizing DRM.

But I still have to say this was brilliant and awesome.

Jesus would have shot the ball in the water if it made him closer to the pin! And then he would have done just as Tiger did in the video haha

Jesus cares so much about his fellow man that he doesn't wish to hurt their feelings during his golf games with them by always getting a hole in one (or just hitting it once and having it bounce in and out of every hole on the first hit).

Therefore, Jesus gets par every single time, even if it requires using his powers to get that par.

But if he needs to win, his greatest trick still is to get a hole-in-one without ever having even taken the balls out of the bag...

yeah no doubt as many stupid things as EA has done the last uhm however many years or so gotta admit that was handled and then some heh good job EA gotta give you that one

It's called an ad campaign guys. it's not a glitch at all. EA posts it's own "glitch" video on the web. let's people see it, and then posts the tiger ad making you feel like they listen to you and understand you. it's all a scam, and you've all been had.

Yeah and the President is actually chosen by big multinational Companies with multi-billion dollar backing.

How incredible then, that they sat on that glitch for two years and then, just as interest was waning in this (two year old) title, they executed their brilliant marketing master plan and released this video.

I'm fulling expecting someone to capitalize on the broken pixel-hunting gameplay from Dark Seed. Any day now...

I like how in the video of the original Jesus shot, the guy puts a copy of Tiger Woods 08 for the 360 in front of his screen, when it is blatantly obvious that there is a Wii directly behind, turned on, which begs the question... Can 360 games be played on the Wii? :0
