Wow, I remember when my dear old grand-pappy used to play this. If I had told them they would re-release the original before a sequel ever came out he would shit a brick into his depends.

Strikes me as one of those games better left in its current place in history. No XBLA release necessary. It use to have a place in my heart, but I imagine it'd only be entertaining for a minute or two.

Now if they could just come out with an XBLA version of Jones in the Fast Lane...

Doom had graphical enhancements? It's pretty disappointing if this is just a straight port, I hope there's *something* that would entice me to buy it, I played it to death twelve years ago. I was sort of looking forward to it, but I don't know if I wanna drop $10 on a lame port.

1. Doom 2
2. WAD packs - DWANGO5 and DWANGO6 preferably

If only there was a high resolution pack for Duke Nukem 3D that replaced the sprites with gr4phx.

I played it today at x08. Only for a minute tho. I had some difficulty climbing the first boxed area. Turning felt really slow, but i never checked setting to see if you could tweak it.

I can confirm there is NO splitscreen. Me and my friend wanted to play together but couldnt because of this. There is online and system link co-op however, but your limited to 1 player per system. And I cant remeber right, but I think i saw more then 4 slots in the system link lobby. I think the game supports 16 players.

The Duke is old, it's time to move on, even the new Duke has been in production way too long to hold any anticipation/hype for. *sigh* I gave up when the 3rd person iteration came out, enough of this, i'll just settle for Grand Theft Auto, it's just as demeaning.
