Cammy kicks high in Street Fighter IV home versions

First introduced to the world in Super Street Fighter II, the be-thonged British secret agent / world warrior, Cammy, will "definitely" appear in the home versions of Street Fighter IV, producer Yoshinori Ono tells 1UP.

Capcom conducted a poll on its blog last month, asking users which classic character they'd most like to see return for the console and PC ports. The list included T. Hawk, Dan, Ibuki, Sakura, Hugo, Fei Long, Dee Jay, and Cammy. In addition to revealing the winning fan favorite, Ono hinted that Tokyo Game Show may see – along with the PS3 version of SFIV – the unveiling of another home-only combatant: the fabled Sheng Long. If he does show up, you'll surely have to "defeat him" to "stand a chance."

Both Dan and Fei Long have been confirmed to be in the home versions of SF4....

they should have already known that there would be such a high demand for Cammy that would negate the need for a poll asking which character people wanted.

seriously, someone from SFIII must show up to bridge the gap. (at least, bridge the gap for me ;p )

I think the poll is just for kicks and giggles since dan and fei long has been confirmed while Ono said in an interview that he would add Sakura and Ibuki in the consoles. It is apparent that most ppl would chose Cammy.

the poll is like the transformers one created by Hasbro a couple of years back where they asked which Tf character should be produced in an ultimate style. Prime, obviously won. However, the poll was created a few years after the masterpiece optimus prime toy was being made, so the poll was pointless.

In terms of hotness, I always preferred Cammy over Chun Li. Something about her just did it for me.

And the fact that I just keyed the phrase "Did it for me" in reference to a video game character seems kind of pathet-...

Good thing Cammy was awesome in subsequent games because if she remained as atrocious as she was in SF2, no one would like her... Also, the thong helps.
