I'm a sucker for subtle details like that. I freaking love them. I want this.

Yeah, I have to agree, zcrhy. Sega is going all out and wins the round for this game on pure style alone. They are hitting it hard, and coming really close to sending it out of the park. I can't wait to hear more on this. Also, from hands-on previews of the game from GC, it sounds like they are getting the graphics right on with that grainy, old, theater film look. Can't wait for more!

Seeing that picture of a VHS tape makes me think that someone should make a game that includes one that has vital game information on it, kind of like some sort of top secret spy thing. Without the whole "this tape will self-destruct in 5-seconds" thing. I think it would be great if you had to dust off that VCR to find out what you had to do in the game, and maybe even having to find one of those 8-mm tape adapter things to watch it. Sure, the video would probably find its way onto youtube long before the game is even released, but I would think the external video would pull you even further into the game play.

Startropics was pretty good about that; it included a letter that had to be dipped in water at some point in the game, revealing a code that had to be inputted to progress. Nifty stuff, if you ask me.
