The bottom looks better, sure. But the top PSP also has a huge glare on the screen while the bottom PSP does not.

That might also be because the Lite Bright's screen reduces glare.

That's a possibility, but look at the actual glare on the unit itself compared to the bottom one.

I'm not trying to say the new PSP's screen doesn't look a lot better(it does), it's just making the old one look worse. :P

Damn I cant wait to drop another 200 on the same fucking unit just so the "colors" look better. Is Sony even trying anymore with PSP. With the lackluster game showing at this years E3 and Leipzig it just doesnt feel like Sony wants to release quality games but just cheap ports. There seems to be only a small handful of great PSP games coming out for next year. WHY SONY?

I don't see why they couldn't do the second analog stick. I mean, they could still program alternate control schemes for the old models.

More high quality games would be nice too.

Agreed, its just rediculous Sony could even contemplate releasing another PSP without giving it a complete overhaul and 600 exclusive AAA titles at launch. I mean who wants thier crusty new technology anyway.

I hope it really takes out glare like that thats the one thing that I cant stand about DS/PSP is the glare. So I always end up only playing it in my room.

Its all pretty but the games are still a little expensive and there isnt a ton of great games being released. If they could get the price of the system lower and the games lowered to $29.99 then i will buy one but by the time that happens a new psp model will arrive with graphics 100x better than ps3. ok the last part is a joke

When there's $34.99 and $39.99 DS games, I don't see the $29.99 thing happening. Games do eventually drop in price, though. Which is nice. I felt like a bit of a sucker paying $34.99 for Mario Kart DS over 2 years after its release.

I just bought a PSP 2000 like a month ago, and have only been buying older games, so I haven't bought anything over 17 dollars right now. I'm really enjoying the experience right now.
Once I run out of good, older games to play though, I'll have nothing but a sea of Japanese ports to look forward to. *sigh*

I'd definitely buy one if it had a few games I was dying to play... Honestly, I can't think of a decent game to play, other than God of War, but I've never even played God of War so I don't know if I'd even like it.

To me, it looks more appealing as a portable media player than it does as a portable game system...If it had maybe 4 Grade-A games that I was excited about, I'd pick one up and a very large memory stick for media.

That was the same complaint I had... until I bought a PSP. Now I can't think of a day where I haven't played for at least 30 minutes. Between the multiple strategy games, RPGs,sports games, and puzzle games, I've kept my PSP busy for almost a year now.

Just because a title isn't deemed "Grade-A" doesn't mean it's not fun.

Theres lots to play, its easy to say that when you haven't played or got a console, nothing against you in particular, but if people were to stand aside and say Wii is for kids, Xbox is for nerds and PS3 is for blu-ray junkies, nobody would ever buy or have fun with any console.

Theres a few games I had never played in my life, now I'm addicted to them and waiting for sequels :)

Damn!!!

I upgraded to the PSP-2000 because I liked the lighter, thinner version. When I heard of the 3000, I was thinking I didn't care. Now I see that stupid picture. That screen's improvement is way better than the other upgrade just being thinner and lighter. I can't believe how much better that looks.

Now I've got to upgrade again!!!
