As our stack of thick, leather bound binders filled from end to end with valuable Pokémon cards will attest, we're suckers for collectible card games. You could probably also tell from our proclivity to creep around the local Wal-Mart with a black bandana crudely wrapped around our greasy mullets that we're also diehard fans of stealth action. As such, it would seem logical to assume we're big supporters of the PSP-exclusive Metal Gear Acid titles -- unfortunately, one look at our barren ludological library will show that we possess a powerful, unnatural fear of video game packaging.
Thankfully, our hopes for a downloadable version of the Acid titles were lifted somewhat by a brief blurb from series creator Hideo Kojima at Leipzig yesterday. Kojima explained that while there's currently no plans concerning the two titles, it's "possible" that the card battlers could be uploaded onto PSN. We certainly would have preferred a more substantial tease from the Metal Gear maven, a "probable" or "likely", perhaps -- but we suppose beggars can't be choosers.

Actually, the first Ac!d wasn't BAD for when it came out, but the sequel fixed virtually ALL the problems in the first one to the point where the first one is almost unplayable when you have the sequel sitting next to it.

I really loved that game too,is one of the few games I've beat several times in all difficulties.Too bad I never could complete the Infinite Deck.
Great music, the gameplay was really good and The Solid Eye was just cool.I hope Kojima makes 3rd game.

I liked both AC!D titles, they were pretty cool after you got over that ridiculous learning curve.
Thought this was about an original AC!D game on PSN though, now that would be news / saliva worthy.

Actually, I preferred Acid over PO. But then I never finished PO cuz I sold my PSP around that time. I intend to go back to it once I get a Brite tho.
The first Acid was ok, but sometimes grueling. The second Acid fixed a lot of things though, however I didn't like the art style as much.
Anyway, I want a NEW game, not the same old game on PSN. :p
Come on Kojima, we own you.

You know, despite your fears, playing a system that isn't a Nintendo console won't kill you. And likewise, not every game ever created needs to be on a Nintendo system.

Yeah it does look a lot better on videos etc. I guess Joystiq simply has some bad taste when it comes to screenies.

Oh man this game was so much fun, its not a shoehorned metal gear game, it's a great card game with a metal gear look and feel. Great nods from throughout the series too. If you like MGS or card games, seriously go give this a shot. I loved both 1 and 2, but the cool art style of two and its huge array of cards make it better.

PO on PSN would be slightly stupid ¬_¬ Whats the point in having a port of a successful PSP game just to play a downgraded version of MGS4.
The reason Kojima is going for AC!D rather then PO is because AC!D is a unique gameplay style, the puzzle element will keep PSN players happy, and it also allows downloaders to trade cards etc, what possible experience will PO on PSN offer that MGS4 can't?

Thats like having God of war: COO or Rachet and clank Size matters on PSN knowing full well you could be playing God of war 2 / 3 (soon) or the new ratchet and clank.
I am excited AC!D is coming to PSN, if its a network online game, it should be quite addictive.

i get what your saying, but remember the snes cart that let you play gameboy games on it and i think they made one for the 64. there is a way to plug psps into tvs now also. some people might want to just have another way to enjoy the game and others might want to do it just to do it.

That also brings down the purpose of having PSP ¬_¬ The games are meant to be exclusive, and MGSPO is a big hit on PSP, if it shoots of to PSN, how would that look. Besides, I know what to expect on my PSP, so its good, but what joy would I get playing a watered down version of MGS4 on my HDTV :S

If Portable Ops and Ac!d 2 became full on PSN games with PSN multiplayer support, I'd go nuts.
They could also just be straight-up PSP games you can download to your PSP off the PSN.
