Valve's four-player fix of zippy-fast zombie action has been pushed back a bit, but thankfully not 28 days later; just 16. Left 4 Dead had been slated to hit PC and Xbox 360 on November 4, but its evil will instead take up residence on your platform of choice November 20. The date is significant in that it's the 10th anniversary of another Valve game you may have heard about – the original Half-Life.
If you just can't stand a first week of November devoid of something new to play, fear not. Might we suggest: Fallout 3 (Oct. 28) or a little game called Gears of War 2 (Nov. 7).

A week alone with Mirror's Edge before the CoOp Zombie Storm. I can deal with that.
Also, Mirror's Edge; Might I suggest it?

Sure you can - if it survives all the hype, and actually turns out to be a good game.

My birthday is Nov 28, so at least I'll get some of these games for free... but hot damn, I'll be busy in November! I'm still trying to decide whether to play L4D on 360 or PC, though... :( I hope there's a PC demo. Any word on that?
And I plan on completely just going comatose and playing Fallout 3 all winter.

breathing room is right. I cant imagine anyone thinking sony has a better holiday lineup. Resistance was alright but gears is just better IMO. Little Big Planet should do well for them but Im not sure if its going to be my kinda game. I really feel like I am missing something from Sony's line up or is it just that there isn't much coming out. When is fat princess... am I just rambling?

I hope I can find time to play it. That's cutting it a little bit close to finals time...and there are like ten other games that come out in that general time frame.
Can't wait...game has to last me till Dead Rising 2. I need mah zombie fix dammit!

Absolutely hilarious how xbots are now pretending that a game being delayed is good after all the sarky comments whenever a PS3 game got delayed. Well, you will love Alan Wake and Splinter Cell 5, if they ever get released

When you have 2 years of incredible games to play there's no way to keep up.
Maybe one day, you'll get your mouth off Sony's penis for long enough to join the multi-console party and be showered in more games than you know what to do with like the rest of us, rather than having to so hotly anticipate games that are 6+ months off.

More time to dick around in Mercenaries 2. I wonder if I can recreate the flaming skull car explosion in Punisher...
