You'll stay at 2 because people's sarcasm detectors aren't that broken

Also, the up-votes for the pointless Wii hate will match the downvotes for the pointless PS360 hate

WTF is an ANZ or a weebo? Wikipedia says ANZ stands for Australia New Zealand, weebo appears to be a robot from the Robin Williams remake of Flubber? Sorry if I'm not up on the latest slurs....

Weaboos are those kids you see on anime conventions that want to go to japan and have a succesful life as and anime artist, married those blond, blue girls they see in naruto and that speaks like this.

Example

Im looking for a bento box, it cant be pinku (thats japanese for pink) or any girl color. It has to be of 2 or more kotoba (thats japanese for 2 compartments) and has be be chibi(small) sized. And has to be really kawaii (cute). Also It has to be about 10-20 bux. And you have to post pics of it first (i want to make shure it's kawaii [cute]). And it would be nice if it came with matching chopstick holder (WITH chopsticks).

The also too pictures doing a disgusting disfigure faces in and effort to look like this ^_^.

You know too many Japanese words. Your weeaboo status is confirmed.

If I voted, I would vote you down for the epic fail of mixing ANZ with AZN. And then stereotyping everyone who goes to an anime convention to the hardcore, tardcore elite pricks that seem to exists in any pop culture culture.

I do get giggles at AZN PRIDE websites though. It amuses me. You're showing pride for something you never did... You were born asian, what an accomplishment. This is like me looking in the mirror and saying "I fought long and hard for these three colored eyes." No, I was born, got them as part of the package...

I believe him. The beta just went into an expanded phase and the Home client is now launched on its own icon on the XMB. B4 it was in with the game icon. The other reason I believe him is that games with Home integration are coming this fall. If I were a developer I would not waste time on a service that did not have and internal release date. Bioshock is a 3rd party game that will have Home integration.

The potential of Home is almost limitless. It will launch primarily as a virtual 3d online lobby but will morph into much, much more.

Home has not been delayed that long, I know it seems like it has...but the original launch date for the open beta was fall 2007. So, when it launches in fall 2008...that makes the delay ONE year. Not a short delay, but not a long one either.

Hopefully, I get in the expanded beta. But yeah, I knew Home was coming in 2008 to the public. It would be a really stupid move from Sony to release it any later. Not only would customers be mad, but they would have completely forgotten about the project if it was held back 2 years.

I hope Home doesn't become like Second Life in the medias eyes, where they wait 6 years then act like it's the biggest craze of gaming and the coolest thing ever and have episodes of CSI NY where Gary Sinise woefully tries to play a ridiculously modded Home unlike anything it's really like.

i hope to use it for clan meetups and such. they plan features that would let me invite friends to come watch movies so that would be cool. now honestly, are you this critical about avatars? i hear all the time how live is so great because it lets people get together, why is it a bad thing for ps3?

I'm going with Alpha release here. We have yet to see this thing in action and can't be very polished. Beta if you're lucky.

First Microsoft Bob, then 2K's "Crib," now this? Using a home as a UI doesn't work. I hate having to go downstairs to do laundry or go to the kitchen to make dinner. Aren't computers suppposed to let you do things in fewer steps (i.e. Click a button vs. walk to the back of the house, walk downstairs... NO, don't open the back door... walk downstairs, turn the corner, walk into laundry room, WTF?! door ajar? It's a door!)

Currently, with a fresh PS3 out of the box, you can:
play games alone or with friends, listen to music, watch movies, download all kinds of crap, and surf the net.
What will Home add to this?
And if it doesn't add anything, why bother?

It sounds like they created this place not for users, but for advertisers and marketing partners.
It's a solution looking for a problem.

In Soviet Russia HOME releases YOU. But seriously...

1.) Will gamers in Alaska get igloos?

2.) Can ghetto gamers get evicted?

3.) Can internet dorks customize HOME to be their moms basement?

We want answers SONY.... bring them to us!
