Then when you are tired of real bowling you can give fail bowling a try, how about buttercup?

Haha I think by the time I'm tired of real bowling I'll be far to drunk to do anything. That's the best part about real bowling =D

The PC version of RocketBowl may be three or four years old by now, but the game is hardly a "dud." I don't even have a 360, but I have fond memories of the game. There are plenty of old, positive reviews from back in 2004 or 2005. Just search around. Here's one:

Thanks for that link. There was another link on that page to download the trial version, which I just played for the 60 minutes it allowed me to.

You guys have got to try some of these games out before you shit all over them - just look at the comments, it makes your readers think they're garbage, too.

I got a pinched nerve in my back last time I bowled! If this was on the Wii, the same thing could happen! Glad I sold mine!

RocketBowl sucks slightly more than Peggle.

That is to say, it's one of the all-time greatest 'asual games, and certainly eight or nine tiers above filler crap like Bejeweled or the infinite video-game renditions of Texas Hold'Em.

Played it on GameTap back in the day, and while 10 bucks may be pushing it, it's an enjoyable time-waster. Much more clever and interesting than it might appear at first. It has a bit more to do with mini-golf than bowling, really.

WTF? RocketBowl is a good game by some great indie developers, LargeAnimal.

Shame on you, Joystiq. Maybe you should try the game before you knock it.

RocketBowl on the PC was pretty good. But the best bowling on a console/computer would have to be either the Wii bowling or the PS3 High Velocity bowling. I wish they would make a really in depth game (that doesn't suck...) on bowling. It could be done with just buttons.

Way to trash on what is a great indie release. At least the pc one. I highly recommend people check out this on PC and Saint and Sinners bowling as well.

Play before you spray James Ransom, this post makes you look pretty noobish.
