WhoMe @ Aug 26th 2008 1:40PM
Yes, sweet Jesus, yes! A whole week of this right?
I am so gonna enjoy this, I love it when this man opens his mouth.
jonbo298 @ Aug 26th 2008 1:49PM
Did he gain weight?
Obie @ Aug 26th 2008 2:03PM
Seems like it, I remember that he used to be overweight in the past, lost a lot during the Eternal Darkness days. Seems all the stress of late has made him gain a lot back again....poor guy.
Burritoclock @ Aug 26th 2008 1:51PM
Please, PLEASE!!! No more Dyack, PLEASE, I can't take it anymore.
Highcharity @ Aug 26th 2008 2:06PM
Burrito shut your mouth dude hes a really cool guy and some people find him interesting. If you don't like it don't watch it.
Duke @ Aug 26th 2008 2:22PM
If you love him so much why don't you marry him!?
Burritoclock @ Aug 26th 2008 3:11PM
I have nothing against the man, I'm just sick of seeing him everywhere and hearing the same stories over and over. He is like the iphone of game developers right now (I'm referring to coverage, not any quality/hype/let down stuff)

Dyack is a pretty annoying fella. I have to say that this interview did him some favors. I have to give him props for doing things his way and creating an enviornment that rewards employees for their longevity and creativity. He needs to hire a spokesman to talk for him.
Dyack's personality is a microcosom of Too Human. It sounds great on the surface but in actuality the presentation and execution don't live up to the expectations. Whatever that meant.
Spallit @ Aug 26th 2008 2:45PM
I guess he's a pretty intelligent guy. Unfortunate that the internet as a medium ignores traits like that.
Looking forward to the next one.
Saeth @ Aug 27th 2008 6:21AM
What the hell @ the end? Completely dodged the question it seems...
That death sequence is the most annoying thing I've ever seen in this generation of games.
MikeO. @ Aug 27th 2008 8:47PM
I've heard about a hundred times that the death scene is to replace a "LOADING" screen instead.
And I think if you would rather see a static loading screen with nothing to look at instead of a brief (what, 20 seconds tops?) cinematic to replace it, then you have some messed up priorities.
I think it's absolute genius and it's so obvious that this improves the qualify of a death penalty I don't know why everyone else isn't doing it already.
In gears the screen goes red and you get to click "Retry from last checkpoint", in Mass Effect you get an annoying musical tune and the option to "Load" or "Resume".
Here we actually have all the work done for us and a neat little cinematic to replace it and everyone bitches.
Seriously, get over it kiddos.

I would feel like a massive tool if I strutted around the office wearing a shirt with my game company's logo on it. Then again, I'm not too surprised that Dyack would do that.
Obie @ Aug 26th 2008 4:19PM
At least he doesn't walk around with a plastic Lancer like CliffyB.
GIRT @ Aug 26th 2008 4:22PM
What about the Dane Cook leather bracelet cliffery b always wears.
Dirty @ Aug 26th 2008 5:07PM
Im not surprised that you don't own your own game company.
If I owned something as cool as Silicon knights I would be wearing tons of SK gear all the time.... to match my SK tattoo. God forbid someone take pride in something that he has dedicated his life's work into creating.
Jtenma @ Aug 26th 2008 8:18PM
I have to agree with Dirty here...
Why not take pride in your work???
WTF??? is wrong with you!???
