Want to pick the Resistance 2 cover art?

Video games have given so much to you, isn't it time you do your civic duty and give back? IGN is providing the perfect opportunity allowing you, the public, to vote on the cover art for the Resistance 2 Collector's Edition. OK, so it's not exactly Obama/McCain, but you work with what you've got.

IGN says that Insomniac is offering the choice to fans because "the studio can't seem to make up its mind," which is insulting to your intelligence, but probably not so insulting that you should avoid the vote all together. After all, it's not just a right, it's a responsibility.

Amen. I was freaking baffled when I finally played through Resistance after hearing so much praise. It was entirely forgettable.

Then again, I felt the same way about Halo.

I really liked R1. I thought co-op was especially fun and the weapon selection was quite nice compared to most shooters. It didn't really break any new ground, but most games don't. I just thought it was a very solid and entertaining shooter.

the single player was pretty fun to me but i spend most of my resistance time online

Three definitely. like mentioned before, it gets your attention cuz you wanna see the upside down view. but its kinda wierd that the "Only on PlayStation" and "PLAYSTATION 3" fonts are different. i actually prefer the original PlayStation font but the spiderman one suits the look of the PS3.

Resistance 2 is teh shiiit, man! Really, it haz so bad graphix, you bleeding out of your ass, when you watch that shit. PS3 suXXors so badly, man. Sony is ultra evil and stupeed! Mario 64 haz much better visuals!! Really!!!!!!1111

They all suck, just like the game itself. The first Resistance was so terrible I didn't even bother finishing the demo.

I think its pretty clear that 3 is the winner, the rest look nothing special, we've seen enough of Snake close up, now we have to stare at another face close up?

I think the left one is the worse, the middle one is alright, and the one on the right is the best.

I would have to go with number 3. The other two look bland and I don't like the close-up on the first cover. His face looks kinda... cheesy too.

Anyway, it is a really interesting idea that they have let others take a pick on which should be the box art.

yea its a nice idea to put it up for us to vote on.....unless they fixed it by putting up two that suck on purpose so we pick the clear cut winner.

number 3. hands down. its the only one that has any character. the rest just look like any other FPS cover. plus the upside down part would cause someone to look at the cover longer, provoking impulse purchases.

oh and the 'Only On PlayStation' thing looks like crap. they just typed it up there using the old PS2 font they used when they wrote out the whole 'PlayStation 2'. the Playstation Network tab doesnt look bad though.

Number 3 if it wasn't a complete rip off from Fable.

This is just a stunt: of course everyone's going to pick number 3. The two first ones look really poor in comparison, therefore they're guiding people's choices towards the one they wanted in the first place, therefore giving people the illusion of choice.
