In the newest entry, for example, Hsu delves into the Ubisoft/Ziff Davis blackballing and how it, in a sense, played a part in his resignation. It's all fascinating stuff that's both unflinchingly honest and essential reading for informed consumers of game media.
Hsu and Boyer's Sore Thumbs is a must-read

I just got finished reading it. Don't find much of it too surprising so far, but I'm favoriting it for now.

It's probably not such a great idea to burn bridges in an industry like the videogame industry, but I respect shoe for keeping his journalistic integrity as long as he did.
I hope they can find a decent web designer, and fast, because the new site isn't exactly pleasing to the eye. At least it isn't as bad as giant bomb, where you go to the main page and it looks like the site is basically a search engine. Only when you scroll down do you realize "oh! there is content here!". I only criticize because I want them to be successful, and most poorly designed sites don't stay around very long.
Good luck guys.

I wonder if the game company sponsored hookers dress up like their respective companies mascot characters. I also wonder if it's about time to get a job at EGM

Screw that, it's time to get a job at Gamepro or Game Informer. Then you can sing that mexican hat dance song. How did that go again? Oh right..
"I dance, I dance, around the money hat. I dance, I dance, around the money hat OLE~!"
