No, the only real problem is what the attack isn't. As fans of The Dark Knight know, the Joker's real fatality is blindingly obvious. Because, honestly, who doesn't love a good magic trick?

So what's the problem with the Joker's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe fatality (seen at about 3:40 into the video after the break)? Well, nothing per se, it's a perfectly silly, violent way for the criminal mastermind to finish off his foes, and is actually surprisingly brutal for the game's Teen rating.

That doesn't count as intense violence? How in the world did they pull that off?

Joker's fatality was funny but I was expecting the Bang sign to suddenly get shot like in Batman Beyond.

I doubt this will make it into the final version if they are going for a T rating. Good viral marketing though.

That's a pretty badass finishing move, and very fitting for the Joker. Of course we all would have loved the disappearing pencil trick instead, but ah well. They have my attention now.

I'm really not a fan of the coat and t-shirt look.

Anyone else feel the fatality is pretty much a reference to the last scene of The Killing Joke? A much better reference than the Dark Knight, IMO.

so seriously some of you were expecting him to pull out a table and stab a pencil in it and then say to someone want to see a magic trick and etc.? dont think that captures the magic of the movie's scene.
also for a video game i think the cartoony joker works better than a dark brooding crazy joker, since a lot of characters are similar in mk.
