IGN has the first screens and videos of the DS version of Neopets Puzzle Adventure, a game which we fully expected to scale down to the DS admirably. And it has, although certain changes have been made from the other versions. For one, Petpets, which act as special magic attacks, are limited in stock (to five) rather than by a supply of MP. The changes don't sound like anything done to adapt to the DS's limitations, so maybe Infinite Interactive is just trying to sell you two versions.

OR....Hardcore DS Fangirls who are major puzzle addicts and also a major Neopets Fangirls will line up for their version of heroin.
And here's a newsflash for people who don't know what they're talking about: Not all Neopets games are wishy-washy, yucked up games for 2 year olds. A lot of them have some very enjoyable game play if you can stop being a snob for more than two minutes and actually pay them. Many of them are challenging and very well thought out. Just because they're on a PC and use Flash, doesn't mean they're crap and Neopets fans don't like games with real gameplay.
And before someone waves me away as just a Neopets Fangirl, I'd like to note I'm a hardcore gamer-girl. I have been all my life. I was raised on the Atari & the NES. I beat Final Fantasy I at three years old, struggling desperately to read as I played, and usually having to beg my mom to help me read. I own every Nintendo System ever released in America. I have been there, done that, and wrote the book on gaming multiple times over. So when I talk about games, I've got a good bit of knowledge behind me.
So before you criticize several MILLION people who play Neopets by basically saying they have no gaming skills, and apparently no drive to play anything more than pick up sticks, keep in mind that there are also quite a few people who assume the DS is a children's toy and look at it as nothing more than another expensive brick to keep their children entertained.
Learn not to stereotype. It ticks people off.
