Let me guess? SeaTac is STILL under some sort of construction.

Welcome to the area, Joystiq. Be prepared for more clouds, and stormy weather. You missed the bright sun and hot temps by about a week.

Need tunes? Check into 107.7 THE END. Good Alterna-Tunes. Need Coffee? Go to a local Coffee stand. There are some great Bikini Baristas in the area. Stay away from Starbucks, please.

Again, Welcome to the area, and fucking have a blast at PAX you lucky sons of bitches. :D

Yup. It seems like every time I go over to SeaTac these days they've completely changed the roads going in and out of the place. Not much going on in the terminal though.

Forget THE END - 90.3 is where it's at for good tunes (only comes in clearly when you're in the Seattle area though).

Seattle may not be sunny, but it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Take a look around.

Do I detect the essence of Southwest Airlines?

You guys at least got to travel in class (remember the days when the big airlines actually had service?)

Screw the sun! I moved to Seattle for rain. And we don't get nearly enough of it as advertised. :(

Today there was an event today on the same floor as PAX tomorrow that would have be interesting for a Joystiq member to cover:

http://www.enterpriseseattle.org/components/com_extcalendar/cal_popup.php?extmode=view&extid=30

http://www.washingtoninteractivenetwork.org/

The panel included Shane Kim, Perrin Kaplan, and other local industry vets, talking about the state of the game industry in the Seattle region -especially during an economic recession. A lot of cool perspectives were shared.

Lived in Seattle my whole life. It's always overcast, doesn't run that much, and the airport is a good 15 miles south of the actual city(only 3 miles from my house thought). Weird city but good vibes, PAX is going to rule.

I had a lay over in SeaTac about a week ago. Man, this is one of the crummiest airports I have ever been in. My local airport (Detroit Metro) is a freaking palace compared to this guy.

I would much rather live in Seattle than here in Southern California. I hate hate hate the damn sun. It's never cloudy here practically. Whats so great about the freaking sun anyway? My skin is always burning, my car gets so damn hot, I hate having to wear sunglasses to drive to work in the morning. Gah I'd love to move to Seattle if only I knew anyone up there.
