Oh, how you yearned for their unrestrained chuckles -- their sparkling smiles -- to be transformed into naught but a cacophony of wailing and ceaseless misery. What gave them the right? Was it their fancy PCs, Macs and Xbox 360s? Did they so enjoy coasting down The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness on their technological toboggans that they couldn't even cast a single glance towards you, sitting atop a lonely and immobile PlayStation 3? Well, when the snow falls again this Winter, revenge will be yours.
Also, Trophies! Posting on the official PlayStation Blog (they let anybody on there these days), Hothead producer Joel DeYoung confirmed that the first episode of Penny Arcade Adventures would arrive on PSN before the end of the year, complete with Trophy support and 1080p resolution. "Looking back, I think it's a shame that we weren't able to release the PS3 version closer to the initial launch of the game," he said.
With the game's engine now up and running on the hardware, DeYoung expects that future episodes will arrive on Sony's platform in a more timely fashion. No more being left out in the cold, our monolithic friend.

It's funny that it's "Special" when PS3 games have trophies. So revolutionary of them...
I actually earned my first Trophy last night

It's like NBC's motto...
"If you haven't seen it, IT'S NEW TO YOU!"
At least, I think it was NBC... or CBS... or ... TV...

Its because it isn't a requirement for games to have trophies yet, so some/most of us are interested in knowing what games do have them or not as it could be a deciding factor.
As for the game, I heard, unless your a Penny Arcade fan, this game is pretty naff, so I'm going to dodge it.

I don't have any friends on the PSN either. So I can't even compare myself to others. Anyone want to add me?

This was probably the most boring game I played for the 360, unless you really love Turn-Based Combat RPGs I really cannot recommend this game to anybody. I bought it thinking Penny Arcade would actually make a decent game. Biggest waste of $20 ever.

Many PS3 users love turn based RPGs, myself included. I didn't realize Precipice was a turn based RPG... that just about doubles my interest right there. I'm very happy this is coming to PSN and I'll be picking it up probably near day one. Can't wait.

Oh brilliant, they'll spend lots of time on the game, thereby making their crappy comic crappier.
All you PA fanboys are going to have to come up with more elaborate excuses than usual for justifying your votes on the weekly wrap-up.

I can't imagine they'd be putting very much work into the port. The game is already designed and written...
I don't understand the PA hate 'round these here parts, either. I find them funny.

Good one Exo, now sit in the corner while the grown ups talk.
Kersh, it's not that PA havn't had their moments, I just feel that they're long gone. They're a shoe in on the weekly webcomic wrapup simply because of their fanbase and not the individual strips.
They seem to be getting less and less original, relying on jokes done by others or even ones they've used before. Obviously originality is hard to keep when you're doing 2 strips a week for so long, but that excuse doesn't somehow make their comics good.
So me not finding PA funny is compounded by un-explanable fervor on the part of the PA fanboy, and that makes me an angry Top Cat.

you are basically saying that everyone that likes it is wrong.
you are a fucking douche. thats is all.
tis cute though that you think you are all grown up and intellectual. but seriously, just cause you don't like it means they don't deserve the attention they get?
cry me a river

Nope, if you had read my comment correctly you'd see that i don't believe they should win the wrapup as often as they do.
I also laid out my reasons for not liking PA and why i get irritated by PA fanboys. Whereas you tried to refute my argument by calling me "a fucking douche".
Tis sad that you don't realise how childish that is. In any case, i'm going to bed. Maybe you should find another foul-mouthed kid to trade insults with.

lol,yea sure. you have no real argument so you run away. thats all it is really. PA wins because tis funny, weeks where its not as funny it doesn't win.
its "funny" how that works huh?
fact still is you think people are wrong for liking it, its gets voted because people LIKE IT. what a fucking concept huh?
There have been many times where it hasn't won. and thats why you are a bitch.
and if you didn't notice, its only the little kids that go around and try and pretend they are more mature then other people.
so cowboy up top cat

The game isn't bad, but you have to love the comic and the type of gameplay to love it. But ... doesn't that seem obvious?

Was this shit even any good? Eh too many PSN games this year anyways not to mention the fully fledged disc-games I have to worry about too.
Looks like Age of Booty, Fat Princess, Flower and Wipeout HD will satisfy my tastes. Won't miss this one at all.

Loved this game. Like everyone said, you have to enjoy the comic. If you do, it's a must buy. The humor enough is worth it.
Glad to see PS3 users will be able to get it.
