For sure... still waiting for Nevermind and Moving Pictures.

Until they deliver LAST year's promises, I'll reserve my excitement for this year's announcement.

@EJ: Nevermind was NEVER promised. HMX has released statements regarding this a number of times.

It was mentioned as an example of the ala cart method "You could buy all of Nevermind, or just Smells Like Teen Spirit" or something like that.

The rumor hit the web and spun out of control.

Stay true to the funk, brother.

Honestly though, I know about 90% of the album on both guitar and bass anyway. I wonder how I'll take to the plastic?

That Foo Fighters album is amazing. But the cheat is that 50% of that albums amazingness is attributed to "Everlong" (the best song ever made), but that's already on RB2.

I don't listen to these bands that you like therefore you suck. I only listen to indie rock and death metal by bands that even the college kid with the bad haircut hasn't heard of when I'm not listening to classic rock by people who were banging transvestites while most of you were sucking on your mother's teat. That pretty much makes me better than all of you. You are all pieces of crap for not liking the same stuff as me. Go somewhere and die. Ace of Bass rules!

BTW, nice Sifl & Olly avi!!!

As for this article: funny to see Foo & No Doubt get full albums, after their 3 packs in GHIII...I bought those, and I'll absolutely buy the upcoming two albums.

And Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

I'm actually banging my head to every one of these albums. Even the No Doubt best of thingy should get the gals into it a little more.

Though I enjoy Foo Fighter's TCATS, I would have preferred their first album. But beggars can't be choosers, I s'pose.

Wait...does this mean it won't work with the original Rock Band? Are they going to stop allowing the new downloadable content to be used with RB1? That would be kinda lame.

FFFTW (Foo Fighters for the win!)

According to an interview Joystiq did with Dan Teasdale a while back, the DLC should work for RB as well as RB2.

Joystiq: Does the company foresee a point when DLC will be made exclusive to the latest version?
DT: Not for Rock Band 2. We made it very clear that we want this to be a platform.

Really dude if you want to play Nevermind so bad, just get a guitar and look up the chords. I guarantee you can "master" the whole album in a weekend. The shit isn't complex. I don't know why anyone would think this album would be fun to play in a rhythm game.

Amen Cox, imo, only Lithium would be fun to play.

The Colour and the Shape!

Best Foo album by far! This just made my day and put RB back on top of GH once again, because the GH track list is shaping up nicely.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik is a nice album too, and I would never pass up some more Stevie, just so I can get some more hard guitar stuff. I can't wait for these...fantastic.

They will. I wish they wouldn't but some of those lyrics are pretty rough. I wish they could read your family settings and censor if required, but I doubt it.

I really hope mature lyrics will be available this time around. Including that as an option would be great. That way parents who can't take the time to explain art/music to their children won't have to upset the apple cart.

They shouldn't even need the option of clean lyrics. They can rate downloads separately from the game. LUMINES LIVE! is rated E, while some of the content available is rated E-10. I don't see why they don't just M rate explicit DLC.
