A scant few days before E3, we saw signs that the Metallic Silver Lite, long since available in Japan and Europe, would be available in North America next month, but since then, we haven't seen so much as a scrap on the subject. Thanks to the latest Best Buy sales sheets, savvy gamers were able to suss out that the snappy new (to us) shade will be sold beginning with the seventh of September. Will you step into the silver spotlight, or will you practice a smidge of sensible self-restraint and stroll on by?

I dont know, to me it seems silvers too common a color for eletronics these days. I'll stick with my Pokemon D/P DS lite :P

Yeah, there was nothing remarkable about silver.
I'll stick with my Cobalt Blue until I see if my hoped (and prayed for) for Pokemon Platinum Special Edition ever emerges.

Hmm...though the fiancé's expressed interest in a few of my games, he tends to recoil and hiss at my (omg supergirly pink with matching headphones) DS.
This one might cater more to his interests. It's the same color as his PSP, anyway. :P

Your fiancé is too bogged down in gender roles. Tell him that the colour of the thing does not affect the quality or function of the thing itself. And if he thinks that it does, dump his ass for someone with more than half a brain.

@aj: Haha, take it easy. His problem isn't that playing a pink system would somehow emasculate him (like I don't do this enough already pfft) -- it's an irrational hatred of the color pink.
Other stereotypically "girly" colors seem to be fine... xD
