Life at Joystiq HQ used to feel a lot like Mount Crumpit. It was cold and lonely and it just seemed like our hearts were, in the words of Dr. Seuss, "two sizes too small." (That, and Ludwig refused to take his damned antler ears off.) But then LittleBigPlanet rolled along and slapped the cynical smirk clean off our faces. And -- wouldn't you know it? -- our hearts grew three sizes that day.

Yeah, hate that sign.In fact that's probably the reason why nobody wanted to make exclusive PS3 games.Why couldn't they do it in a less obnoxious way? Couldn't they go with the 360 stamp that's barely 16mm x 9mm and doesn't take up so much bloody space?

The servers that will house the user created content will be region free so you can play levels made by anyone in the world. Also, I'm pretty sure the normal story mode levels that come with the game are set in different places around the world and have influences from those places.

What else can I say, it looks pretty darn good.

No dude, I simply like this game even though I do think it's overhyped which leads to the amount of downvotes I get.

The only game that can warm the cockles of my cynical gaming heart. I love you Sackboy! and I'm not afraid to shout it from on high!!!

The 'only on playstation' logo needs some work, everything else looks fine :)

I swear I get more excited for this game every damn day (and I had next to zero interest when it was first announced).

Sony needs more Bandicoot

I had zero interest in getting a PS3 until I saw this game. Then I went a bought one, go figure.

Yeah Sackboy would be a perfect mascot.. he seems classy.. where as Bandicoot seems like a dirty dirty whore.

If this was Nintendo then yes. But you see, PS3 and 360 are "fuckin' hardcore".How would put a mascot like Sackboy up to the likes of Master Chief and Marcus Fenix.

Now if you were to make him and Sackgal and giver her some tits...and guns...and a hot ass...

It's a physics-based platformer with user-created levels.

Physics-based games are popular.

Platformers are well-liked and underrepresented lately.

User-created content is THE buzzword of the moment.

Also, it has a very solid art style and the gameplay looks fun.

In other words, LBP seems to have its finger on the pulse of several good buzzwords and actually looks like a solid game to boot. Oh, and it's different.

Fanboys found a new game they could use in their "Wait till...comes out" denial machine,media gets interested, it turns out that the game could actually be good,mentioned fanboys as suprised as everyone else, keep hyping the game not knowing when to stop,all gaming sites join in,the gears of hype keep turning, it cannot be stopped anymore, BAM!!!

Right now it has reached the status of a "System Seller" but I'm pretty that it will get 12/10, cure cancer, end all famine and poverty and give you six hour erections by the time it comes out.That my friend is the power of hype!

Seriously what the hell is the big deal about this game? Every article is a sloppy bj about it but I haven't read anything substantive about it because no one talks about how it plays, only aww cute sack boy.

This LittleBigBox seems a little bit taller than a normal PS3 jewel case, anyone else see that?

Aladdin Sane sackgirl makes me want this game even more.

The game will be great just as long Sony PR doesn't screw this up....and maybe they can milk this franchise and come out with other cool games like Little Big Planet Sluggers, Little Big Planet Party and Mario Ka....oh I mean LBP Kart

Why would they need to make all those different games... you can make them yourselves...
