Is it just me or is waiting in line for this sorta pointless. Its not like a theater with limited seating or a product that will probably sell out.

Agreed. I'm always amazed when I meet super geeks who are not actually intelligent.

@Ranelar

Not me, I've grown to accept stupidity as the norm.

Umm, good for them? The only thing worse than habitual line waiters are the news outlets that keep giving them attention :P

Sorry Joystiq, love ya but isn't there another "Nintendo Bashes Hardcore Player Base" story you could be doing instead? :)

Well at least they're not waiting in line to scalp some in-demand item (Wii). Cause then Joystiq would kick their asses.

But I guess they have nothing better to do. It's like hanging out, except it's outside of a convention where you can't really do anything but wait.

Wow. That was a waste of a night.

Then again, I'm writing this from the PAX line so I'm not sure what this says about how well I use my free time.

Just curious as to the advantage of being in line as opposed to just showing up when it opens.

I have never made it out to a PAX, im genuinely curious.

I'm at PAX. Doors opened at 2:00, I showed up at 2:30 and then stood in the will call line for 90 minutes.

Advice if you ever go to PAX. Either have your pass delivered to your house or buy a pass there. People that just bought a pass there did it in 5 minutes.
