"We don't [have MOD support at launch], we want to but we have our hands so full with getting the game out and getting tools out there that work well for people and with the game is a pretty big undertaking," Howard told Joystiq.

Haha guess you guys noticed my comments about the vast amount of PAX Fallout info.

DLC only for PC and X360....
No DLC at all on PS3.
I wonder how much did it $$$.
ExTester @ Aug 30th 2008 5:14AM
Probably it didn't cost a thing when having to deal with the memory constraints that they had experience with Elder Scrolls..
Thatoneguy64 @ Aug 30th 2008 12:07AM
I love how he danced around the issue of whether or not they'd live up to the first two.
Tomoki @ Aug 30th 2008 12:27AM
I don't think it's not a matter that's under his control. A lot of people will love it, but there are sure to be gamers who refuse to take off the nostalgia goggles that constantly replay the first two games over in their head. He can't force those people to like it.
Tomoki @ Aug 30th 2008 12:31AM
Scratch the not that sneaked in there there. I'm tired, and grammar means less when you're tired.
eldee @ Aug 30th 2008 2:51AM
How was that dancing around? It's a completely subjective question.. To the hoards of mouth-foaming fanboys it will never compete with Fallout 1 & 2.. for anybody with half a brain, it's up to them to decide.
j.howlett @ Aug 30th 2008 1:02AM
there goes my slim hope of getting mod support on ps3 since the dlc is 360 exclusive. not that it's a game high on my list, i just want to see more developers take advantage of the ps3 and it's more open nature.
BigD145 @ Aug 30th 2008 1:18AM
For the PC it'll just be, "We'll let users do the mods and then take their free ideas and package it up into a $60 expansion for consoles."
ZippyDSMlee @ Aug 30th 2008 7:21AM
Why sell a nerfed game then release the full product a year later as GOTY edition= PRINT MONEY!
Oh and I am looking at you too Epic and your crappy UT3...when in the hell will you fix the GUI?!?!
ZippyDSMlee @ Aug 30th 2008 7:30AM
Oh and while I am here lets go over the PS3 issues, at one time it was slower than the 360 due to coding issues and getting to know the hardware, guess what fanboys the PS3 is not faster than it was due to improvements in coding, so the only thing holding back FO3 is the devs not waning to do anything, and I wonder how many issues will plague the 360 counterpart like Bioshock did god lord the fail60 needs a overhaul BAD...well..they are putting more ramm into new units...still have not gotten the overheating issues dealt with...
Robert @ Aug 30th 2008 9:24AM
I am not sure I will be buying FO3, Bethesda showed with Oblivion what careless they are to fix bugs (all platforms), all software have bugs but not publishing fixes for critical bugs that force you to restart the game (games that have hours and hours already) is just plain wrong
Juno @ Aug 30th 2008 1:09PM
I can't wait baby. Cant wait.
Please do more of these auidios! They run on my linux machine at work! Love it.
