As good as it looks, it seems like a very tough game to market to the "casual" demographic they seem to be aiming.

Its a cute 2D platformer with a level editor.. I haven't heard much about the pre made levels or the gameplay... They could be garbage..

If anybody has a link to somebody playing the actual game (not level editing) and liking it, please post it.. and yes I am to lazy to look.. so there!

That video was amazing. I doubt I could make levels like that but I can't wait to see what the community comes up with.

This game shows how you innovate a stale genre.

Only with the power of the PS3 can you have instant physics on anything you create or take with the PSeye.

Only on PS3 do you have such beautiful graphics.

Only on PS3 can you be a part of this inevitably HUGE community and play and exchange levels and ideas for FREE.

Only on PS3 can you play a game that TRUELY bridges the gap between core and casual.

This game will be a MASSIVE console mover for Sony. Mark my words Fernandos and Pals...this game will be one of the BIGGEST franchises to EVER hit Playstation consoles.

This games buzz will spread like wildfire among the casuals.

This game will sell many, many PSeyes.

This game is the envy of every single Wiifanboy.

@ KillJebus

Only on PS3? Did the entire 360 community all come together and bonfire all their hardware and go out and buy a PS3? From my point of view in terms of graphics, physics, and ESPECIALLY community the 360 could do just as well. Hell, with the casual/hardcore "bridge" I could only see the 360 being the better choice due to its more manageable price point. I love Little Big Planet, it's one of the most innovative titles to come out this entire console generation but I can only see its overall sales potential being limited completely BECAUSE its a PS3 exclusive.

DiscoShark,

yes, it is true that the price of the 360 is more friendly, but it isn't more casual than the PS3, any one that is familiar with the industry can tell you that...

The 360 still seen as the hardcore console, and the fact that Microsoft puts a lot of advertising on their hardcore titles also enforces that notion.

Look, I cannot deny that there is a lot of material that could come from the 360 crowd, but it is rather naive to say that it is limited because of its PS3 exclusivity, now you would have had a better argument if you were to use the Wii instead, but then again, it would have been crippled in many ways, so we wouldn't know...

Well, it is now confirmed Sony is throwing *anything* they can to advertise this game.

Maybe they can get at least one right....

I almost fainted when I realized that the Sackboy article you linked to was from 15 days ago. It feels like it was two days ago!
