PAX 2008 Music Video: Jonathon Coulton's 'Flickr' and 'Not This One'
11
Last night we attended the first PAX 2008 concert, featuring The OneUps, Freezepop, and Jonathan Coulton headlining. There are a multitude of great moments (highlight reel to come later this weekend), but one thing that stuck out was Coulton's performance of "Flickr" and special song "Not This One," both songs featuring video accompaniment aided by sound guy Bart Brad. Check out the live performance, embedded above.

That was just EXCELLENT. I especially loved how...if you are listening to the second song "Not This One" you can hear the audience break out into song and sing along with it. lol

It was hilarious, you can't see it from the video but he was dancing around the stage and flipping everyone the bird when it played. He also inserted an audio clip of the song into Mr. Fancypants later on with his zen drums.

Um...looks like you misspelled Jonathan Coulton's name there, Ross. Just letting you know.

JoCo has rickrolled his audiences before, but usually it's during the Mr Fancypants song :-)
