Rent! I thought the first game was good for the first 2 hours. After I cleared one suit it was just like.

"... This again?"

no way this game deserves an 8/10.
this is a 6/10 at best. i can't believe the number of bugs and design flaws in this game and the gameplay is boring: drive through everything and go to the target.
the free-roaming design serves no purpose at all.

Sorry I've got agree with some of the less popular opinions here.

Yeah 78 is okay but if I'm paying over $60 for a game then a 78 translates in opinion to average...bordering on suckage.

As a 360 gamer that's what I though when I saw the scores for Too Human and that's what I think about when I see this game.

I want games in my library that are of high quality and this game honestly doesn't look like it's worth the time or money.

Seeing as they release a PS2 version, a Wii version wouldn't have been much of a problem, and with the IR pointing would had been most awesome!!!

Well, shame there isn't, maybe 'll pick this one when it comes down to 30 or so (lets see how much time it takes till i see a copy at bookmans)

From all the gameplay videos it looks fun. I think some of the reviewers might have forgotten this.

I'm really enjoying the game. A ton of vehicles and weapons to choose from. It obviously has some issues, but if you enjoyed the first one you'll likely enjoy this one too. In fact, I'm enjoying it more than GTAIV. No, it's not nearly as polished as GTAIV, but it's just pure action and it has real co-op.... not that stupid mission shit found in GTAIV (and no freaking cell phones to answer).

Amen to that...the so-called "co-op" in GTAIV was garbage, and this game is a hell of a lot of fun to play with a friend. My brother and I laughed our asses off as we made a gun-run in a beat-up old truck, slamming into people and objects and losing cargo.

Also, the voice acting is pretty terrible, but for someone like me with slightly lowered expectations, it turns out to be so bad that it's good.

Gate Guard: Well, maybe we don't want to let you in.
Mattias: Look, I'm not really the negotiating type...let me in or I'll kill you all.

I have to say eurogamer is pretty spot on. While this game isn't bad and it can be fun. I urge you to go play Just Cause. This game is honestly so much like Just Cause I can't belive it's a diffrent game sometimes.

Like the piss poor handling of vehicles, the shoddy physics and less aim and a much less useful grappling hook, also minus the entertaining parachute.

Most of this game is a joke especially after playing the same game 2 years ago. I love going to top altitude in the Heli and jumping out only to slowly fall and easily survive.

I want to like this game, I really do but there are so many things wrong with it I just can't bring myself too it.

Another thing just like just cause is when you are driving or flying around you can hear random NPC's yelling at you, like walking in the jungle and some woman yells to help her. Driving a boat and you hear city people screaming. It baffles me.

Long story short it's worth a rental but just barely.

i rented it and i REALY tryed to like it
but this game just got me MAD its not realy fun at all
ya you can blow crap up but the 1st game was better
my bet is they made it on the PS2 then ported it

so many places are sell outs they score on hype and $$$
how many 10s we see this past year or so 4 or 5?
come on this game is a 7 not close to a 8

hell i think thats why it came out on a sunday
they knew it sucked and there scores mite lower sales

what's all this then? people saying reviews for a game may not effect their experience of enjoyment when thinking for themselves?

Professional reviewers can say what they want, but this game is a blast. I spent the first day playing single player and yesterday I played it with a friend online. We both laughed our asses off and didn't want to stop playing.

I like Eurogamer personally. I think most of their reviewers generally hold similar gaming opinions to me, and thus generally provide the most solid reviews. They arn't generally prepared to cover over the cracks when a mediocre title comes by, and I like that decision.

The vast majority of titles have little ambition, both in execution or scope. Eurogamer tends to reflect that, and I think the standard of writing is pretty high.

The game is buggy as hell. The voice stuff is atrocious. You hear voices talking about you even when there's nobody there. The voices are also not specifically directional, you need to look around to find the person speaking much of the time. The gameplay is fairly solid, the controls are also solid. The instant drop-in drop-out two player co-op gameplay hasn't been done better by anybody else before this, closest thing to it is Burnout Paradise, but this seems to give you more control. Overall, it deserves the B-, it's a 79-81...

Haha... sometimes those voices are coming from people that ARE there, they're just stuck in objects. I would hear the same kind of stuff from time to time, but one time I heard the voice of a soldier and looked to find him. I didn't see him at first, but then I saw his rifle clip through the wall of a house. He was stuck inside. I blew up the house with C4 and he flew out.
