Have you been dreaming of an open world game with massive firepower and fully destructible environments without all the pesky legal repercussions in GTAIV? Mercenaries 2 just might be your game. You get to blow things up ... a lot ... with cruise missiles. Let's not forget online co-op either, which means you can blow things up with cruise missiles ... with friends.
As though Mercenaries 2 wasn't enough, we also have all of these:
Infinite Undiscovery is that only thing i'll be playing this week.
Sadly I have a feeling it'll do bad in North America. Not that much talk about it but ohohoho Japan is a different story unless those 360's are still out of stock. Or maybe or Japanese pals still have their 360's from that ToV thing.
Oh my god. I can't believe I'll be basking in the glory in the sequal in what was the most addicting 360 game of '06... my, this will ease me through my first day of last year high school...w00t! Viva Pinata!
I played Mercenaries 2 at PAX, and while it was pretty fun, it looked awful. Pop-up, lo-res textures and all. A side-by-side comparison with Far Cry 2 (also out this year) is not favourable to Mercenaries.
Inifinite Undiscovery was, umm, "interesting". I'll be interested to see what people think about that one.
