the 360 version of FFXIII isn't even being developed until the PS3 version launches in Japan. so i doubt this announcement is for a 360 demo.

I might actually buy this Final Fantasy demo if I can't rent out Advent Children Complete.

After the shit-fest that was Final Fantasy 12, I just don't feel comfortable shelling out £50 for a Final Fantasy game without trying it out first.

I payed for Jampacks back in the day so i'd buy it or import it no doubt.

Can Joystiq finally cover that rumor in the Official PLAYSTATION Magazine about Kingdom Hearts 3 being announced EXCLUSIVELY for the PS3 at Tokyo Game Show.

Its Nomura's so EXCLUSIVELY actually has a meaning this time around.

You douche, I see you double-posting all over the site.

PROTIP: If you are replying to somebody, make sure that above this box (the one where you're typing "but I do that and it still doesn't work!!" and "I think I know how to use a comment system!!") it says "replying to _______"

Next, hit the grey "Add Comment" button. Finally, don't shit yourself and hit the back button to post again if your comment doesn't show up within 10 milliseconds.

It shouldn't be too difficult to believe there are non-idiots out there willing to pay for this demo. So many are dying for a taste of final fantasy 13. Sorry, you may think square is milking the series, but braid does not have the same pedigree as final fantasy. If the full final fantasy 13 won't release within a year after this demo releases, i may even get it.

It's also not fair to compare it the a 15 dollar xbla game because the FF demo alone probably cost a shitload more to make than the full xbla game.

Funny, you're one of the people who calls out those that don't respect the different interest of others, and here you are insisting that if someone is willing to pay $40 for a final fantasy 13 demo, then they should pay $15 for an overrated xbla game. I wouldn't even pay $15 for a wii game. You can call it a demo, but that's 2 hours more fun than i'll probably have playing madden. (no offense to madden fans).

Now if the full final fantasy 13 released around same time as the demo, then yeah, it's pretty dumb to pay $40 when for $20 more you can get the full game that'll probably be 30 times longer.

Here's a question for you guys...

What if the demo allowed you to keep your save file and use it in the full version? Say the demo comes out and costs 400 points / $5 and is at least a good couple of hours. Would that be worth it to you?

Only if I can turn in my receipt and deduct the value of the demo from what I pay for the final version of the game. Which won't happen.

Even then, it's still not worth it to me. I mean, I love the Final Fantasy series, but being teased for 90 minutes and then having to wait months for the payoff is not my idea of a good time. Especially if I have to pay for the damned thing.

I'd say $10 on XBLM and PSN. PSN getting it first for obvious reasons (the whole...Japan getting it first thing) is what they should do. That's different from what they will do, charging $60 for a retail disc.

It isn't my fault this damn site takes 10-20 minutes for comments to show up. I'll gladly double post if it takes to long for my comment to show up.

I've never seen so many people throw a hissy fit over a simple double post. Ignore the 2nd post then jackass.
