Take note: Pure demo coming tomorrow

We said in our "New Games This Month" post that Pure was the best racing you weren't anticipating, and believe us when we say we weren't, in the parlance of the hills, just whistling Dixie. It an incredibly smart take on ATV racing that intertwines your turbo and combo meter to create a risk/reward dynamic unlike anything else we've seen in the genre.

Now, you'll get to see what all the fuss is about firsthand when demos for Pure land on Xbox Live and PSN tomorrow. Just don't come crying to us that you weren't warned before your face got rocked clean off.

would this be similar to MotorStorm: Pacific Rift?

If the demo is any indication the tracks will be much, much smaller.

Motorstorm has no tricks, and thus no risk/reward trick system.

This game is essentially SSX with ATVs, and the combination ROCKS!

I've had the demo since last week, and I keep going back to play it! Gamestop has had the demo disks in their stores.

I hope this game plays as good as it looks.

Intertwining the turbo and combo meters, nope, never seen that in the genre ever... SSX anyone?

Still, if this is even half as good as SSX Tricky or SSX 3, i'll buy it at launch

Correction, the demo will probably released on US PSN store only (and maybe UK PSN store, which isn't the same as the rest of Europe).

I loved the controls in RE4, and not once had a problem with the game.

I am all for change, but I'm not for *this* change. I'm a hardcore RE fan and I don't see the need for strafing or moving in any way while shooting. Keep in mind, nowhere does it say that moving while shooting is one of the changes being made - that's all hearsay right now.

But there is a big difference between a survival horror game and a run-and-gun action game. Resident Evil has always been the former, and not the latter.

Though I am worried, Capcom rarely does wrong as far as I'm concerned, so I won't judge until I have the game in my system.
