That reminds me of the xbox 360 game crossover with Heero and Master Asia.

“You don't know who am I,I'm Master ASIA!”

Secretly I was waiting for master Asia to suddenly say something like:

“Are you treating me? I'm master Asia surrender your bonghole, Pipi for mai bunghole. I’m Master Asia from Nicaragua”.

To be honest anyone watched other Gundam than Wing, Seed or G which IMO was a shameless attempt to turn the series into something like yu-gi-oh and stuff.

(Seed was plain weird dude)

As someone that hates basically every non-Universal Century Gundam, I agree with you.

Turn A is garbage, Gundam X is garbage, Seed is garbage, Seed Destiny is garbage, Gundam 00 is garbage, SD Gundam is garbage, Gundam Igloo is garbage, etc.

Bandai took the Gundam franchise, poo'd on it, then decided to turn the series into an emo pretty-boy on pretty-boy angst fest of failure.

Did you even watch any of those series. Destiny was garbage and turn a, G gundam, but gundam x and certain parts of seed along with wing and 00 were actually good. You cant rate 00 without seeing all of it btw so watch it before judging it.

I also noticed how you didnt include wing or G, perhaps you like them? and SD isint even considered part of the official franchise although it is at the same time. It was focused on a younger audience and it FAILED.

We just can't have enough gundam.
Awesome trailer BTW. Good to see that the Gundam 00 series of robots are in it too. :) Too bad it won't be in english as usual. I still hope it'll be released though... in english i mean. But who cares anyway, especially if it's Gundam. haha

USA: Please give us the Gundam.

Sony: There are no Gundam fans in America. You people
smell. And you pirate all the games and don't buy any.

USA: Don't Japanese gamers pirate, too? Mightn't we buy more games if we had more games to buy

Sony: Buy a PSP Brite.

USA: But if we don't have games to play... *urk*

Sony: (stabs USA in eye with old UMD movie case)

Do you think it would sell enough here to make it worthwhile?

The expense of localizing a JP title is a small fraction of the initial development cost. Not localizing shows that the source company doesn't think they'll sell ANY... Or Sony doesn't actually want them to for some reason. Gundam is a huge title and Anime is BIG in the USA. Even without the Gundam/Anime draw, a good JP title is a good JP title. PSP owners here are starving for decent games.

Of course, if you keep good Anime games off the PSP, the hardcore fans of the genre won't buy the system and you have a self-fulfilling prophecy of no sales.

The lack of JP porting is killing the PSP, as is the lack of domestic development. It may be doing better in Japan, but around here I think it's game over - thanks exclusively to Sony and their failure to bring the games and accessories in a timely manner. The fact that we're only now (?) getting a decent WiFi store alone should tell you how little Sony is putting into PSP support worldwide. Crazy, considering it could be (is?) their bread and butter platform.

So NamcoBandai plays absolutely no role in bringing this to North America? Look at other Gundam games that are for non Sony systems, and I believe you'll see a similar trend in the games not getting over here.

I haven't gotten to play it, but there is a demo for this on the Japanese PS Store. I really need to download it to the PSP now and play it, never was a huge fan of anything after the original stuff, but a good game is a good game.
