Rumor: GTA IV DLC actually, really coming this November

I wonder what the DLC will be? And How long it will keep me busy.

Is it gonna come to the PC release? I mean, GTA4 is gonna be a Games For Windows Live title, so it's already very in bed with Microsoft.

I'm going to tune it all out and expect DLC in November.

The word is that the DLC is two 10 hour mission packs. I really don't see how that was worth 50 million from MS. So much for those whole new island rumors.

If there isn't at leats another island, I'll be dissapointed.

Can't wait!

Maybe Yerip gets it first and us Amurhikens have to wait until January.

At this point, I think most gamers care more about the what rather than the when.

I'm not even close to being finished with the on-disk content yet. As much as I love the game, I have a lot of trouble playing it for more than a few hours at a time. As far as I'm concerned, I'm in no hurry for more content.

So I can be beating people up with double dildos in a gimp suit, revving my chainsaw at passers by and toasting any cars that are better than mine with my flame thrower in November? And also download GTA IV DLC?

I'm getting the feeling that the "360 exclusive" stuff is going to be on the disappointing side. Probably a mission pack that will remain exclusive to the 360 for all of a year, and then show up on PSN and as a disc-based add-on.

Worse, it might end up being a bunch of downloadable things like new cars, new skins for characters, new buildings, or new weapons.

I don't feel bad dumping my 360 for a PS3. I really don't think I'll be missing anything on GTA IV, in the end.

I was looking at the last post (aug 28th) by joystick. I can't believe all the losers who are bitching! They're all like "who the hell still plays this anyway?" 8 months does not make a game like this obsolete! Unless you've stayed in your parents basement playing it the entire time. I hate these uber-snobs who turn their nose up at anything that's more than 4 months old, and think that makes them cool or hardcore. I would like to be there when their parents finally kick them out and it dawns on them that stuff isn't free. This game is one that should have a permanent place in any gamers collection anyway and should be enjoyable for years, not weeks. If your attention span is that short, than you shouldn't be playing video games anyway cause you're a chihuahua, and chihuahuas are too stupid to play video games. Which means you probably just sit there chewing the controller up, pausing occasionally to lick your stitches or bark at your own ass. Personally, I'm still playing the hell out of mine (GTA4, not my ass) and also other, much older games as well. (Still got tetris on the original game boy.)I still play Crackdown, Bio-shock, Far-Cry, Halo 1,2,and 3, Resident Evil 4(game cube), Zelda and other games.

I just got a PSN gift card that I was going to use for that Warhawk bundle. Now I think I'm going to save it for this!!!
