I’m going to judge from the mere screen alone that the game story goes something like this:

Blonde kid gets some magical thingy that transforms him into a badass Superhero like knight with a ridiculously long sword but in exchange he sacrifices all his character dept.

Then the kid is up to save something and probably there are going to be some incredibly annoying characters plus the girl that seems to be a really naïve 5 year old trapped inside the body of a teenager or an adult.

Am I rite?

Well it looks cool though.

You forgot to mention the gruff yet lovable party member that he meets along the way.

@Mr.ESC

nope, because your character is fully customizable. "he" can very well be a "she" with hair the color of dookie, gray like lint in my pocket (after forking over so much money for games this fall/winter), or whatever.

still, i'm pretty excited. i've been drooling over WKC since it was first shown, mainly because Level-5 makes such good jrpgs. a firm release date (even if it's only for Japan) is good news, considering the dearth of information that's been made available for the game up till now. hopefully Sony gives us a firm US release before the year's end.

..and I'll buy it!

I'm looking forward to this, anyway, looks good and I had a great time with Rogue Galaxy.

J/K guys but if I had included the Mecha then I would have to include the tentacle monsters as well.

Well, I can't wait for it and I hope that when they're done, they move on to make a Dark Cloud 3.

I'm not worried about the US release date because Level-5 usually drops some goodies on the western versions of their games if they're brought over late.

I hate to jump the gun here but I would take Rogue Galaxy 2 and/or Dark Cloud 3 being announced at TGS over a WKC US release date hands down.

Nice to hear that it actually still exists. Long localization delays are so 1997, though. Get with the times.

doesn't matter, the guys at Level 5 make the wait for localization totally worth it...

As an example, for Rogue Galaxy, the added a whole new world, and Im not whether or not the Ghost Ship was also available on the JP version

weird. that original vid of the kid running around a forest was one of the first demos for the PS3 I remember seeing. Then I totally forgot about it.

Excellent. Given Level 5's track record, I'm pretty psyched for this game. I enjoyed both Dark Cloud games, and I thought Rogue Galaxy was superb (some of the best games show up in the latter part of a console's life cycle).

There'll be more than enough JRPGs coming out on the 360 to keep me occupied for a while before I need this game...and at this rate before I'll even need FFXIII.
