Select Xbox Live DLC discounted until end of October

Microsoft is running an "Extended Play Download Days" promotion between now and the end of October, with select downloadable content discounted for six Xbox 360 titles. Sure, half of the promotion consists of Beautiful Katamari accessories and stages, but we've also got Forza Motorsport 2, Mass Effect, Guitar Hero 3, Lost Odyssey and a deep discount for Oblivion Shivering Isles (from $30 to $20). Not coincidentally, today also marks the first day of the new Xbox 360 price drop.

Ha! Puny mortals! I have 114 speed, am invisible all the time, have 866 Magicka, and have the Shadowrend (more powerful than Umbra). Muahahahaha!!!

Whoa I had no idea there was DLC for Katamari, I'll have to check that out. Anybody have any idea if it's any good?

Well I think the DLC unlocks stuff that is already in the disc,so I heard,but I'm not sure if its good.

Hmm, the only game I have on that list is Mass Effect, and I kinda hate it now after grinding through it 3 times already.

ive been waiting for some of that dlc to be free. This price drop just shows that theres hope. Ill keep waiting until its free. And yeah, wheres crackdown. I have no interest in playing crackdown again, but want the last 2 achievements, so I need that dlc to bee free. I hate when pay for dlc comes out and it contains achievements. They shouldnt do that. Or at least they shouldnt add the achievements automatically to your gamercard if oyu dont purchase them. Now it just looks like im missing achievements form 6 or 7 of my games but thats only cause i gotta pay for them.

I can't decide what makes me angrier, all of that Beautiful Katamari horse armor, or the fact that they're charging for levels that are (supposedly) on the disc.
Ah well, I'll probably still pick up the Mass Effect mission. I've been meaning to go back in there ever since I played Too Human.

WHAT! No Two Worlds or Over G DLC. And come on I want new skins for my ping pong paddle for 2K's Table Tennis. I think I am going to throw my 360 out the window and buy a PS3 with awsome blue ray technology that I can care less about.
