I see what you did there. Very intriguing! =) I have two 360 chat pads lying around might as well make this with one of em'. But does it only work on psp 2000 or is it 1000 and 3000 compatible as well? (well noone knows if its 3000 capable since the hardware isn't even out yet...)

Annoying indeed! Nice mod, but I don't see a use for it -- at least in that form. By the time you take it out and plug it in you could have already selected a bookmarked website. If the PSP supported some type of messenger service (AIM, Yahoo, etc) then I could see a use for it.

It supports 2 message services. However, the Go! line of products isn't available in the US.

Very cool mod, and I don't say that often. In fact, I don't think hardly ANY PSP mods to date have been really useful, but this one definitely is. I may just have to do this.

the only way I'd get a keyboard for the psp is that the psp had a bluetooth connection. And no, I wouldn't go for attaching something at the bottom either. Too much bulk already!

I understand that it is faster and can be helpful at times, but whats the point in having a PSP if you just use it as a monitor and the keyboard as a controller.

PSPFANBOY.COM please retract/update your statement “That's exactly what the clever folks at Acidmods did”. That should read something along the lines of “Jean at ps2dev.org has done.” as my tip and video have stated. Sorry, but I want to ensure the proper credit is given to Jean. Thanks so much for post. Appreciate it!

I prefer to use the onscreen keyboard. It makes typing a game. One that I've become pretty good at. The only problem I have is that the PSP and PS3 don't share the same interface or commands so it has become two games to master. I accidentally erase what I've typed on the PS3 a lot.

Am I the only one that thinks the PSP's input keyboard thing is the worst thing ever?

It's as if they had a meeting on making a built-in keyboard, and said "we can't make it easy to use, or logical, so let's do THIS!"
