Dem-o-matic: Guitar Hero Aerosmith and NBA Live 09

The whole point of Guitar Hero Aerosmith is to give you a taste of what it would be like to be part of the seminal classic rock band. So, what would a taste of a taste of Aerosmith be (besides bitter with a hint of copper)? That's right: A demo for the game, now available on Xbox Live, including "Sweet Emotion," "Dream On," "Walk this Way" and others.

Also on XBL is the demo for NBA Live 09, the taste of which we can't even begin to contemplate.

GH: Aerosmith was a rental for me as I'm sure it should be for most GH players. It's a decent sampling of Aerosmith tunes but it doesn't have the feel of a full game. I'd buy at $30 but no higher.

live 09 was meh, the new additions were nice but the feel of play and every player looking like a hunchback from notre dame really makes me want 2k9 more.

Player animations are much, much improved and the features are looking great... but the most important part of the game... the gameplay still feels off. Players move too erratically and it looks sorta quick and fake always.

Perfect! The only 3 Aerosmith songs I was interested in playing anyways, and this coming from an Aerosmith fan.

I downloaded this just to see if it worked with my RB guitar on the 360, and it does! I'm not going to buy the game, but it feels good to finally be able to play some GH songs with my RB guitar - looking forward to the trend continuing on GH:WT. I will probably rent Aerosmith now though, since I know I can play it on my guitar.
