I wish they'd go ahead and release Duke Nukem Forever so we can have some new jokes about it. Because I mean seriously, it's gonna suck.

It's going to suck so much, it will double suck. Suck Suck. And the sucks will cancel each other out, and it'll be awesome.

=P Obviously people should be weary given the game's history, but I think Forever actually IS coming out very soon. It seems they've settled their development cycle a lot recently since during earlier development there were a lot of changed in game technology graphics. It's the same reason Source Engine/Half Life 2 was so delayed as well.

Who knows...maybe this movie will coincide with Forever's release in some way...? A good sign to see Duke getting somewhere at least.

Duke Nukem is like one of the last American Bad Asses. What actor do you think could pull off the Duke Nukem role?

Arnold maybe in his prime.

Arnold? Nah. If Bruce Campbell beefed up a bit (and turned blonde) he'd be perfect. But then he might just feel too Ash-ey.

Yeah! Bruce Campbell would have ruled too, if he was in his prime that is. He has a great delivery at one liners.

I wonder if Christian Bale with blonde hair could do it?

I see someone who is not a very good actor but has experience playing cheesy American action movie roles. The first guy that comes to mind is Van Damme.

I love Bruce Campbell as much as anyone else, but the burning desire to have him cast in every single role that's related to anything nerdy or at the least involves snarkyness is just getting ridiculous. I can understand him being Lobster Johnson from Hellboy, but Duke Nukem? Come on get serious

They could save themselves a lot of effort and lawsuits by casting Bruce Campbell as the lead.

Hell, they even took the line "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum." form that movie.

Duke Nukem is real popular with the little ones these days. They obviously felt the need to strike while the iron is hot, and make a Duke Nukem movie.

Won't it just be wonderful if the movie came out before Duke Nukem Forever? A movie that was started 10 years after the game. Maybe a movie trilogy will be the teaser for the game...
