While it (hopefully) furiously cranks away at a network play patch for its excellent – yet bug plagued – XBLA release, Castle Crashers, The Behemoth took a moment to confirm a couple of DLC details on its dev blog. When we spoke with the team at PAX, it was unready to reveal anything; now we know about two additional characters and a wicked weapon.
The characters in question are the King and the Necromancer. The weapon is ... a chainsaw. (OMG! [Seriously!]) Don't expect them soon, though, since The Behmoth says that, "Castle Crashers has some online issues as well as other technical difficulties that we are focusing on before anything else. That is our top priority." That's good to know, since, well ... we'd kind of like to play the game together. Oh, and for those who might suspect otherwise, the team confirms that the DLC is actually DLC – it's not stuff that's already in the game, just waiting to be unlocked for a price.

Yeah, I'm not paying for content I've already bought, especially when your game doesn't even work. What's next, charging money to give me my savefile back?

Is anyone else of the opinion that the Red Knight at a high enough magic level is a game breaker? I mean his lightning spell is waaaaay better than any of the other knights. Sorry just thought I would throw that in there.

I agree, hes pretty OP. I went all magic and defense and none of my friends could beat me just zap, stun, death.

The IGN video review showed that all of this content was in the game before. (Those sections have since been removed, but you can still see it on Youtube).
And people who have hacked the game found them in the code, as well as the chainsaw and two new animal orbs.
So yeah, if they try and charge us for this, they can go to hell, unless it comes with some new levels or something, it'll be a total rip-off. If it's released free with a big patch or something, then great.

They have to do something with the all you can glork minigame.Man that game is so borked.
It seems xlive games have the worst online, seriously it lags frequently and it crashes quite often.
About the DLC they should include an alternative ending and maybe one whent he bad guy wins. The regular ending is weird but it ain't satisfactory.
