Man, I got my Wii second handed and i'm loving it more and more as time passes. Wii ware titles are pretty enteraining, many titles pretty fun, Vistual Console has a los lot awesome old games, playing gamecube games is helping me catch what I missed last generation of nintendo and the Homebrew, maaaaaaan, gotta love the Scene homebrew of Wii!!!!!

Say whatever you want, Wii is amazing, as everything, it has its drawbacks, but tell, which console hasn't has one drawback at least (Overpriced PS3 and RROD360)

HELLO!!! PS3 has an internal Blu-ray player! "Cheap"er blu-ray players are still like 400 bucks. AND you gotta consider the fact that you're getting a very high quality gaming console WITH a blu-ray player that can receive updates such as blu-ray live! Plus $200 isn't that much for a xbox360 all in all.

Stupid fanboys.

You had me going with your argument until you made it a typical idiot fanboy hyperbolic comment. Congrats! You have won douche of the day!

If you like your little Wii Wii that's fine. Don't bring the other guys into the conversation when it's not needed.

So one of the supposed +'s of the wii to you is homebrew...people taking advantage of the weak and easily cracked hardware to do things nintendo themselves won't do? That sounds like a PSP fanboy's argument to justify the purchase.

Well, over here in Mexico there are Wii up the wazoo (hehe), you can find several in any retailer, shop and mall in the country. Of course the retail price over here goes up to almost 450 dollars wich is highway robbery.

As mentioned earlier about the no-shortages of Wiis in Ottawa, I work at one of the Best Buys in the Ottawa region and we always have wiis on hand now, we havent gone below 10 at a time; on top of that Nintendo ships Wiis to us on a regular basis.

There are three second hand Wii's in my local Game Station in Grimsby (England) right now for £159.99. They've been there a few weeks now, no-one seems to be bothering.

Regardless, people will be searching the shops high and low for a Wii console in panic in a month's time or so I bet.

Pfft, I see tons of Wiis, Mario Karts and Wii Fits in my area but I resell them because after eBay and PayPal fees, it's just not worth it.

Wow, guys...the way you guys vote up/down anti-nintendo remarks are quite interesting and downright childish. I thought a well played out arguement will be voted purely on the merit of a well-thought out arguement. Not who hates Nintendo more.

I am no fanboy, and never have been. I have a wii and an Xbox360. And if i could afford it, I would get a PS3. Infact, I play my Xbox a lot more than the wii but i can assure you that I can see its worth and know that it was worth my time to purchase.

I agreed with Sony's move with the PS1 when it came out, since Nintendo was becoming quite arrogant with their monopoly of the market. But their market strategy failed nad their system did not cater to the needs of gamers this generation around. I like that Micosoft entered the market and the 360 has provided us with exceptional games over these past few years. Nintendo bombed the past two generations in terms of catering to gamers (not that they have improved much) but they have given us something new to work with.

All gamers should be happy with all these approaches. It only cements our place as gamers and provides us with better, improved games to play with. I am happy with all three systems, and if one fails, it will only be a reminder that they should endeavour to try harder the next time around. Guess what? We win...
