Considering you know you aren't actually going to look at it after buying the game, why not read the LittleBigPlanet manual now? Might actually learn something.
The 25-page manual covers all the things that it should, hopefully answering any outlying questions people might have left in the massive amounts of information released about the ambitious title. LittleBigPlanet will be available in Europe on Oct. 29 and we're still waiting for the official North American release date, but we've been told it's "October" as well.

Just read the manual for you. You can move the sackperson's arms around in-game and change their facial expressions!!!
I too want this game.

There's no splitscreen or shared screen for 2 players on 1 console is there? Christ, I like to have a buddy over to game regularly and the list of things we can play together is drying up! Why does everybody have to own their console and game and play at their own house nowadays?

I really like the color and creativeness of this manual. Most manuals now are boring and in black and white.

What's BK?
Having played some VP:TIP (I got it tonight), VP:TIP doesn't seem like it's going to shake up the world. It's nearly identical to the last one. Not surprising it scored exactly the same on Metacritic.
I was at least hoping everything was "sped up" and "smoothed out" as I read. But although things like the new pinata picker are awesome, the game still has plenty of load screens when you buy buildings or go to the encyclopedia. Odd.

Has Joystiq ever had a 'hands-on' article for LBP? Cause I haven't seen one.

I don't see anything about customizing you sack boy? will you be able to make you own stuff for it or will you only be able to use the objects that come in the game?

The part of this game that keeps me so excited is the potential for a huge variety of insanely difficult user generated levels... I'm a sucker for anything that makes you wanna throw the controller and cause your neighbors to call the landlords XD
Imma go look at this manual right now.. One of the best parts about buying a game back in the day... now they aren't usually necessary cause games nowadays are a giant tutorial, telling you how to play the game until you're almost done with it!

This is my most anticipated game of all time. I know I am going out on a limb here but I have a feeling this game is going to be HUGE. I know that's a radical stance.
1st Level - Death Star
2nd Level - Hello Kitty
3rd Level - Hello Death Kitty

Read it all and I can't bloody wait. Apparently the select button is used for reporting offensive content.
Also it says that they have tutorials on nearly everything in the game so that should be good.

Remember, you need the PS3 eye camera in order to have customised stickers/pics! Yuo CANNOT just take images from the HDD or any other external device/s...

Not yet, anyway. But the devs have said they'll continue to support the game after release with free patches, and being able to take an image straight from the HDD is one of the things they want to patch in.
Apparently they've got to take this approach, because if they tried to stick in everything they wanted too before relase the game would never get released.
But yeah, I was dissapointing by this as well. Hopefully it won't be too long before they implement it.
