As a general rule of thumb, there is one thing that can make an awesome game even awesomer. That one thing, as we're sure you've already guessed, is a chainsaw. Smart company that it is, The Behemoth has announced that not only will upcoming Castle Crashers DLC add two new characters -- the King and the Necromancer -- but also a chainsaw. Why is there a chainsaw in what is obviously a medieval world? Shut up is why.
Those of you experiencing connection problems -- like us -- fear not, for The Behemoth has promised that fixing the technical issues in Castle Crashers is "top priority." Considering that the patch has no given release date, that makes the release of the DLC even more nebulous. Other details, like the price, are also up in the air. Here's hoping we get our patch and our DLC sooner rather than later.

I've really enjoyed playing this game, but I want half of my money back because I can't play this online. I'm trying to complete the game on insane, and it would be a lot better if I could get some help online, nope, never had an online game work, most of the time the whole system freezes. Half the game available, half my money back please.

THis game is awesome other then the shitty disconnects when on live. Hey I thought this game was suppose to have a bunch of character unlocks, all Ive unlocked is the grey dude

That is because you haven't played it enough. You unlock a new character for every character you beat it with for the most part. The gray guy you got for beating the barbarian. You also unlock whatever baddie you fight in the respective arenas.

The chainsaw was originally in the game but they must have took them out. You can see it on the ign video review

Downloading a game to solely play with mates and still have no patch for the issue or a date when we'll release the fix, is BS. They shouldn't be focusing on DLC at all when this problem is still occurring.

I hope it isn't too much. Two new characters would rock though!

So DLC stands for Down Loadable Characters, now?
I'd like to see Master Chief as a DLC.
Screw LEGO Master Chief.

Considering some of the weapons include a carrot and a chicken, I don't think there being a chainsaw is a problem.
One thing I will say though is that the DLC better have more levels or at least a lot of characters otherwise I can't see myself buying it.
Not to mention the King and Necromancer are going to be incredibly overused so you'll never get chance to play as them online.

CHainsaw sounds like fun. but I don't know how much they would charge for something like that. if there's more levels / more moves, then we're talking!

A chainsaw in a medieval world doesn't make any less sense than the presence of corn.

A friend and I discovered if you set up a separate voice chat and then connect to a game we won't get disconnected (or at least haven't yet) - but really that will only work with two people for now...

Not too smart of a company if that dlc lacks new achievements.

Isn't there a limit to how may achievements they can add in an xboxlive arcade title?
