Look people, we don't really have a lot to work whiff here. As readers, we realize you may be incense-itive to these issues, but sometimes we bloggers aren't all a factory of witticisms and scintillating content. Sometimes you have to sigh, press on and accept that the news can be boring. Sometimes all we have to say is that a puzzle game called "Potpourrii" is coming out on WiiWare next Monday, September 15th (video after the break).
While this quiet period passes, like a few drops of rain in hail, we can only ask that you laugh, endure and forgive us for all the ill-advised puns.

This looks better than 90% of the crap already on WiiWare anyway. But I'm glad to see this coming out, if only for the fact that the two weeks after that will be Mega Man 9 and Strong Bad (preferably in that order).

Word. I had to move a lot of shit around just to download Super Mario RPG. Why doesn't Nintendo want my money? They better get their shit together since Microsoft and Sony are more than happy to oblige me.

Their stance on the imminent solution has been very amorphous. After the notorious "geeks and otaku" comment, Fischer declared that a solution that "didn't involve the release of hardware" was in the works. Then NoA reps at E3 told reporters that there was no solution in the works at all, and repeated their old line of how to deal with it. Then Iwata and Reggie both came out and said that a solution was coming, and in that more recent Club Nintendo interview, Shiggy seemed to suggest that they were still looking over their options, and had a few prototype solutions
So a solution is either A: imminent B: a year or so off or C: Not coming at all
All depending on who you talk to!

Abstract Games sez: All your Wii Pun are belong to us.
Also: So its slow now. TGS comes soon. In a week we'll all have Force Unleashed, in two weeks i'll have my beloved new Wario Land, and beyond that is a veritable flood of games for all (out of which i'll pick up Sonic Chronicles, Sonic Unleashed, and Disaster if NoA decides to bring it)
Soon you shall wish you had time to come up with grating, bad puns.

Too bad Force Unleashed is kinda getting savaged in the reviews so far. Apparently, it's nothing more than a glorified tech demo for the physics.
They're saying the Wii version is actually better (at least in EGM), but that evidently that isn't worth a hill of beans.
