Potpourrii scent to WiiWare next week
Look people, we don't really have a lot to work whiff here. As readers, we realize you may be incense-itive to these issues, but sometimes we bloggers aren't all a factory of witticisms and scintillating content. Sometimes you have to sigh, press on and accept that the news can be boring. Sometimes all we have to say is that a puzzle game called "Potpourrii" is coming out on WiiWare next Monday, September 15th (video after the break).
While this quiet period passes, like a few drops of rain in hail, we can only ask that you laugh, endure and forgive us for all the ill-advised puns.

Ludwig, you couldn't have crammed more puns in there hahaha
FOXHOUND @ Sep 9th 2008 3:52PM
That's DAVID THE effin' GNOME on that logo! :O!!
Dopple Boppler @ Sep 9th 2008 3:53PM
This looks better than 90% of the crap already on WiiWare anyway. But I'm glad to see this coming out, if only for the fact that the two weeks after that will be Mega Man 9 and Strong Bad (preferably in that order).
RobLink (Alex Kidd incarnate) @ Sep 9th 2008 4:35PM
Strong Bad's already out dude. Go forth and download!
waynski1457 @ Sep 9th 2008 5:37PM
He probably means Ep 2.
RobLink (Alex Kidd incarnate) @ Sep 9th 2008 7:16PM
Surely they're not coming already?!?!
BPMOmega [gamertag] @ Sep 10th 2008 1:18AM
Well, they DID want to release a new episode every month...
And Capcom has planned on a September release for Megaman 9...
brickwalker0 @ Sep 9th 2008 3:55PM
no need to appologize about lack of news.
i personally found the Spore interview interesting. :)
Miniboss @ Sep 9th 2008 4:01PM
All those puns and you missed "all a factory" = "olfactory"?
Ludwig Kietzmann @ Sep 9th 2008 4:12PM
What do you mean, missed?
WRE @ Sep 9th 2008 7:51PM
By "missed" he means "hit the nail on the head".
Levi @ Sep 9th 2008 4:01PM
Sorry Lud, this blog stinks.
Microswirl (MKWii:1676- 4270-3674) @ Sep 9th 2008 4:27PM
I agree... if only we had something to mask the smell.
samfish @ Sep 9th 2008 4:01PM
I happen to think this looks interesting. Anything that's compared to Bust-A-move gts my attention.
...too bad I won't be able to download it, though. Yep. SUUUUUURE could use a hard drive!
WRE @ Sep 9th 2008 4:06PM
Word. I had to move a lot of shit around just to download Super Mario RPG. Why doesn't Nintendo want my money? They better get their shit together since Microsoft and Sony are more than happy to oblige me.
Mr Khan @ Sep 9th 2008 4:14PM
Their stance on the imminent solution has been very amorphous. After the notorious "geeks and otaku" comment, Fischer declared that a solution that "didn't involve the release of hardware" was in the works. Then NoA reps at E3 told reporters that there was no solution in the works at all, and repeated their old line of how to deal with it. Then Iwata and Reggie both came out and said that a solution was coming, and in that more recent Club Nintendo interview, Shiggy seemed to suggest that they were still looking over their options, and had a few prototype solutions
So a solution is either A: imminent B: a year or so off or C: Not coming at all
All depending on who you talk to!
Ranus Studios @ Sep 9th 2008 4:02PM
More like excellently-advised puns.
Mr Khan @ Sep 9th 2008 4:05PM
Abstract Games sez: All your Wii Pun are belong to us.
Also: So its slow now. TGS comes soon. In a week we'll all have Force Unleashed, in two weeks i'll have my beloved new Wario Land, and beyond that is a veritable flood of games for all (out of which i'll pick up Sonic Chronicles, Sonic Unleashed, and Disaster if NoA decides to bring it)
Soon you shall wish you had time to come up with grating, bad puns.
samfish @ Sep 9th 2008 5:35PM
Too bad Force Unleashed is kinda getting savaged in the reviews so far. Apparently, it's nothing more than a glorified tech demo for the physics.
They're saying the Wii version is actually better (at least in EGM), but that evidently that isn't worth a hill of beans.
Nets @ Sep 9th 2008 4:10PM
This game looks terrible...
WiNG [Life in a Game] @ Sep 9th 2008 4:12PM
There's no doubt about it; this release stinks.
Dirty @ Sep 9th 2008 4:39PM
Anyone know of a place to look at some sales numbers for wiiware. Just curious as to how much of this crap they are actually moving.
waynski1457 @ Sep 9th 2008 5:40PM

They do this every week, but it's straight from the shop channel.
Cave Man @ Sep 9th 2008 5:55PM
Where the heck is World of Goo? I thought it was supposed to be out already.
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread) @ Sep 9th 2008 7:44PM
Ludwig you are the epitome of awesomeness. i thought you had lost your punny touch there for a while but thank god your back at it lol.
Roto13 @ Sep 10th 2008 8:39PM
I refuse to care about anything on WiiWare until Mega Man 9 comes out.
