Sony hears our prayers: ABBA SingStar 'super troupers' in this holiday

Sony's David Reeves says the company has a "window of exclusivity for ABBA disc-based titles on PlayStation until 2009." Hey now, if Jimmy Buffet is in Rock Band, why can't ABBA be? Come to think of it, we asked for ABBA there too. Mamma Mia!

ABBA in a Singstar game!?...that's essentially an equivalent of Guitar Hero releasing GH:AC/DC!

Not to mention GH is total garbage.

So... once again, instead of just putting the damned songs on the SingStore; they're releasing it in disc format. Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised in the very least if there isn't an update to the store this week... again. I'm aware licensing and converting tracks to be synchronized with the video takes time, but it's not like they didn't have some of the tracks already out there on previous editions... which would have been a lot easier to perform and upload to the SingStore than ripping them from the PS2 games.

I've got to admit, seeing Mama Mia (Sing-along) in a theater (totally drunk) is a blast. Trust me - sounds horrible - but you'd be completely surprised.

If Sony really heard my prayers, they would trash this horrible idea and fire/execute the person who suggested it.
